Chapter 14

Levi continued to drive my car, he remained silent and went to the building of his condo while I dealt with my own business. Kausap ko lang si Mama at Mae dahil wala din akong nabalitaan tungkol sa pamamaril. I barely watch the news because of two reasons: it's either I'm busy or the news is like a cycle.

"Don't use your phone when driving, focus on the road."

"I know."

"You know but you almost got into an accident?" he's mocking me.

Naka park na ang sasakyan ko sa gilid ng condo at nasa driver's seat parin siya. I just crossed my arms and didn't mind his sermon, I kept myself busy looking at what's happening outside. I saw a couple crossing the road and their friend was taking a picture. I smiled when the boy suddenly tripped.

I stopped admiring the accident when Levi sighed. "Is that how you got your license?"

Habang nagda-driving lesson kasi ako sa student license, malawak ang kalsada kung saan ako nag practice at mabilis ang pagpapatakbo ko. The mentor even keeps on holding onto the handle grip because of it. He told me that he's not teaching me to become a reckless driver.

"Bumaba ka na, aalis na ako."

I have to change my napkin!

Lumabas siya ng sasakyan pero lumipat nalang ako ng upuan. He even knocked on my window that's why I rolled it down to hear him. "Use your seatbelt."

I hastily did it and groaned soon after. "Better?" I asked and pat his cheeks before rolling the window up using the button and didn't bother wearing sunglasses, tinted naman ang sasakyan.

Bumalik na ako ng Manila dahil may training pa ako sa team. Hindi ko pa rin kabisado ang mga pangalan nila pero nakakasundo ko naman sila. Pinapalitan ko din ang paglalaro ko depende kung saang team ako naglalaro. Kailangan ko nga lang iimprove iyon pero kaya naman, nakakayanan. Through the night, I calculated the funds without any basis, without any documents. Only me and my mind.

Kahit sabado, may mga laro kami kaya pagkatapos ng mga training tuwing pag-uwi sa condo, nakaupo ako sa kama at nakataas ang paa habang nagbabasa ng lectures namin. Kapag hindi ako nakakapasok sa klase, nagbabasa naman ako pero hindi ko hinahayaan na liliban ako ng madalas, hangga't maaari, lagi kong pinapractice ang time management.

There are times that I feel sick so I just mind my foods everytime and made sure that there are veggies that I eat every meal. Even with my busy days, I make sure that I sleep fortunately. Sinisingit ko din ang pag-aaral ng italian language. Sineryoso ko iyon at nag enroll sa online class ng foreign language dahilw ala akong oras oara puntahan mismo ang klase. I don't even know how I fit it between ny schedules!

Malapit nang matapos ang OJT namin. It's already second sem and at the end of the month, finals na. I went at the campus para ayusin ang requirements kahit matagal pa iyon. Para naman walang blanko sa grade ko, ayokong ma in-progress ang documents ko.

Galing ako ng training and I decided na mag commute ako papunta sa bahay nila Naths dahil may gagawin kami sa clinic bukas. I already asked my parents' permission to go here and they agreed as long as I'll stick with Naths always, baka daw kasi magloko ako.

Naglakad nalang ako papasok sa subdivision nila at nag doorbell. I just stared at the mini garden outside their house that is taken care of.

"Sino 'yan?"

"Allura Lacsamana po." I waited for a few seconds, the gate finally opened and a woman familiar to me appeared.

Nagmano ako at agad akong yinakap ni Tita kaya halatang nagulat ako sa kaniya. Welcome na ako agad sa family?! Oh my gosh!
