Chapter 17

"Alright but.. cheat? Is there something special between us for me to 'cheat'?" he teasingly asked.

"Pagkatapos mo akong i-ghost?" dagdag pa nito habang nakangisi.

My face heated up when I realized what I just said. Hindi naman iyon ang dapat naming pag-usapan! He's really something!

I faced him. "Sinabi ko bang ngayon?"

There, he bursted out laughing.

His eyes glimmer as he smiles. Tinignan niya ako na puno ng emosyon. "I will stand by my virtue without you telling me to.. but cheat?" He scoffed in disbelief at his last word.

"I won't cheat, love.."

His words made me breathless.

"If it's assurance that you are looking for, hindi kita ipagdadamot roon. So please tell me what else you need other than me cheating on you, because that's something that I won't do. Keep that in mind, hmm?" kita ko kung paano nagpakita ng pagsusumamo ang kaniyang mga mata.

Lord.. ilaw lang naman po mula sa nakaraan ang hanap ko, paano naman po na ganito ang biyayang natanggap ko?

Ramdam ko ang panghihina ng tuhod kaya ako kumapit sa kaniya bago siya tiningala. He cupped my face and caressed it before he softly chuckled.

"Come on, hindi ka pa ba aamin? Drop it," he smirked.

Nanatiling ganoon ang puwesto niya, nag-aabang ng sasabihin ko. Pakiramdam ko tuloy nakikipag lokohan lang ito sa akin dahil sa mapaglarong ngiti na pinakita niya.

Mahina ko siyang tinulak matapos kong ikalas ang kapit mula sa braso ng binata.

"What- Levi anong sinasabi mo?!" nauutal na sabi ko at umiwas ng tingin.

Lura, ang tanga!

Muli siyang tumawa. "Na gusto mo din ako."

I rolled my eyes and looked at him. That much confidence is the level everyone wants to reach!

"Excuse me?!" I suddenly mumbled.

"Your eyes tell me so, but it would be much better if it came from you, right?"

What suddenly got into him?

"Siraulo ka talaga!" sigaw ko rito sabay hampas sa braso pero hindi niya ako tinigilan. "I won't argue with you," I hissed na tinawanan niya lang.

Gosh this man!

"Would I let us?" he asked with a smile plastered on his face.

Why won't he just shut up?

I stared at him for a long time. Why is he acting like this? Levi is so good to be true, I wonder what his flaws are.

"Don't be hungry for affection, I'll feed you with those in no time," he looked directly into my eyes.

"Feed me Daddy." I murmured which I hoped that he didn't hear.

For the next few months, I have been busy with my studies. I even have to buy the Physiology by Berne and Levy because of the topics that I sometimes feel left out! I feel like that book is way heavier than my brain, na walang laman. I wouldn't want to pass this semester without absorbing what I learned and what I should've.

"Lura, highlighter?"

I told Naths to get it on my bedside table since nakatulugan ko ang pagbabasa kagabi at naiwan iyon sa tabi ko. I continued eating pistachios while watching a series about medical drama. I've been binge watching whenever I feel drained with my studies. If not, I just work out para hindi tumanda ang katawan ko at makahabol sa training.
