After a while of walking a found another good spot and used zetsu to conceal my presence then used en. I decided I would flash it on and off every ten minutes to be safe. I used the river to finish cleaning my clothes and my hair, changing into the clean pair as I waited. I spent the next couple of days just hanging out, resting, and keeping watch. Then, on my fourth day of being on Zevil Island, I decided to find one of my friends. I was bored and needed one more badge so hopefully, I'd run into someone along the way. I grabbed my stuff and took to the trees, searching for any nearby auras. Eventually, I came across Killua and I jumped down, waving to him.
"Hey albino kiddo," I greeted, putting my hands out to show him I wasn't going to attack him.
"Oh, hey Suki." He responded, yawning.
"Hey, you do realize you have a tail, right?" I asked starting to walk next to him. He shrugged. There was a pretty obvious aura stalking behind us. It was almost annoying.
"Yeah, he's been following me for a while now. Anyway, I'm happy you found me. I was getting really bored," He admitted, kicking a rock. I smiled and laughed slightly at the little kid's furrowed brow.
"Same, that's why I started looking for someone. Anywho, have you gotten any badges yet?" I asked, relaxing my hands in my pockets. He shook his head no, his white hair shifting.
"Do you?" Killua asked, looking over to me, his eyes were a shade of cold blue. I recognized the practiced look of indifference in them.
"Yep, I got two. A couple of guys jumped me. Wasn't that much of a problem once I got serious, however." I explained, shrugging. Killua laughed slightly and rested this hands behind his head.
"I want to see you get serious in battle sometime!" He exclaimed. I laughed and nodded.
"One-day kiddo. Honestly, after what happened in the third phase, I'm glad you're on my side!" We both laughed for a minute until I felt two more auras enter my en. They walked towards us and I nodded to Killua to get ready for a fight. That's when I realized they weren't walking towards us, they were walking towards our stalker. They stopped in front of him.
"We ran into a little trouble," said the man wearing a red beanie and red turtleneck.
"You must be done by now, right?" Asked the man with a bigger build, backward baseball hat, and yellow jersey. That's when the men saw the two of us. Their eyes widened.
"Who's she?!" One asked, confused.
"She may not be your target, but she doesn't look half bad..." the red one said. I scoffed and sighed, ready for a battle. The two looked angry as they approached the third, our stalker. Then, the red one kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying.
"What are you, an idiot!" He yelled as the yellow brother hit the blue one back.
"You can't even beat a little kid and a girl? Gimme a break!" He yelled. I yawned and watched. At least I wasn't bored anymore.
"No! You got it all wrong, big brother!" He exclaimed, holding his hands out in self-defense. I gave an amused look to Killua and we both giggled slightly.
"Hey! What are you laughing at?" Yelled the yellow brother. I put my hands in the air mockingly and laughed a little more, fully aware that I was aggravating him.
"Look, I just didn't want to hurt a little kid! I thought I'd wait till he got tired and take it while he slept," The stalker protested, his voice cracking slightly. I stifled another laugh. He really thought he could beat Killua so easily? Wow he was dense.
"Are you going to attack us yet? I'm bored." I said, looking at them with a relaxed expression on my face. They were completely out of their league. I mean, a Zoldyck and Freecss against these guys? Yeah, okay. The battle had been decided the moment they stepped into our line of fire. Still, I knew I couldn't afford to underestimate them.
"Sure," The blue guy started walking towards us and I turned to Killua. "Want me to handle em or do you want to?" I asked, stretching my arms.
"I got it." He said, his relaxed demeanor not faltering in the slightest. "Oh-kay," I said with a sigh, leaning against the tree next to me. The brothers looked in determination as I crossed my arms and watched. The blue brother stood over Killua, his hands on his waist, a smirk of confidence plastered on his face.
"All right kid, how about you hand it over. Do as I say and you won't get hurt." Killua looked at him with indifference, his white hair getting tousled in the slight breeze.
"Iiidiot," He said in a monotone voice. In response, the blue brother retaliated with a swift kick to the stomach. It knocked Killua back but didn't seem to hurt him as he fell onto the ground. He laid there for a second, probably wondering how he was going to do this without killing them, then jumped up seamlessly, staring at the brothers with cold, uncaring blue irises. It was impressive.
"What the hell bro? You go easy on this squirt?" Protested one of the brothers, folding his arms in disappointment.
"Yeah, you're way too nice Imori," Said the other brother. Imori looked absolutely dumbfounded as a bead of sweat rolled down his face.
"Uhh.. right," he said, trying to keep his composure. That's when Killua pulled out a badge, looking at it with slight interest.
"You're number 198, huh?" He commented, his voice still mostly disinterested. The brother's eyes widened and they gasped in surprise at the realization Killua had taken Imoris badge so seamlessly. Imori checked his pocket frantically and I just giggled as Killua continued.
"Since it's only one number off from the one I've been looking for... I'm betting that 199 must be one of you two, am I right?" He asked, seemingly more interested and somewhat engaged as he tossed the badge into the air nonchalantly. The look of shock and disbelief on the brother's faces was priceless and I snickered.
"Heyyy, Killua!" I yelled. He looked at me. "Oh, want the badge?" He asked. I nodded and he tossed it to me. I whistled and placed it in my bag then turned to watch the rest. Suddenly they were also paying attention to me.
"Hey Umori, get into formation. I'm pretty sure they ain't any ordinary kids." The red one commented. The three brothers stood apart in a triangle formation and I walked up to be by Killua. In the shadows, I felt another presence. I wasn't sure who, but they were definitely stronger than these three.
"Killua, we got company on the left side behind the brothers," I told him quietly. He nodded and turned. I decided I'd just be back up for now and sat on the root of the tree, waiting for a signal or for the third person to attack. Finally, the three brothers finished their formation and Killua smirked, then disappeared, moving at the speed of light so he was behind the red brother. He kicked out the back of his legs and looked at the other two, holding his sharpened fingers to his neck. I smiled and clapped. "Nice one, kiddo!" He blushed slightly but kept his face emotionless.
"Don't move, okay? My fingers here cut a lot better than any knife." When he said this to his captive, his aura became dark and deadly. He lightly pressed his nail to the man's neck and I saw the blood run down it. The man's aura was filled with shock and fear. He had severely underestimated his opponent and it could cost him his life.
"Aw, man! You're number 197. Dammnnn.. I really am bad at guessing these things. Hey! Are you 199?" He turned to ask the man in yellow. The man was scared and confused but responded, "..Yeah,"
"Give it," Killua held out his remaining hand expectantly as the man took out the badge and tossed it to him. He caught it with a thank you and held up 197.
"Now then, for the one, we don't need," he threw the badge with such force that it sped across the island. I highly doubt they'd ever see it again. "Good luck! You have three days left to find it," Killua said, an innocent smile on his face. I laughed slightly and moved to his side.
"Oh yeah, and a word of advice? The moment you underestimated your opponent is the moment you lost. But thanks for the badge! Ta ta!" I smiled and waved, both Killua and I disappearing to leave the brothers in their disbelief.
