Whispered words inside my mind.
How loudly do they howl.
Oh how I long to tell you,
But I cannot decide how.
When to tell you,
That's another thing to decide.
How and when and where and why?
It shouldn't be hard, and yet...
Secret words that ne'er
Another soul shall hear.
Until at last I choose
To whisper them in your ear.
Wait, I ask
A little more.
Time and patience
Virtues I adore.
Until these whispered words
At last can find their voice.
When I can finally tell you.
When I make a choice.
