Two in One

Broken Mind, split in twain
Nothing will remain the same.
I hate these thoughts
They make me cry.
They say who cares
If you would die.

"I would care!"
I try to say
But the voices won't listen
To another way.

"You don't matter.
No one cares."
A fog surrounds
My mind is bare.

Two in one,
Myself and I
My body a shell,
My spirit, alive.
However, not well.

I'm fighting my thoughts
The doubt and fear.
I can't let them steer
I'm fighting myself

And I'm losing.
