(Author's Note: Italics are lyrics to "Little Do You Know" by Alex and Sierra. And yes, I used a different line at the bottom than what the order of the song has.)

Little do you know, how I'm breaking while you fall asleep...
All of those nights when I would lie awake,
Wondering what I had done.
Wondering if it was right.
Wondering if things would ever be the same again.

Little do you know, I'm still haunted by the memory...
Little do you know I'm trying to pick myself up piece by piece...
There's a lot to mend.
It'll take time.
But it will heal.
I promise.

Little do you know I, need a little more time..
Everything takes time.
To understand how you feel, you need patience.
They need patience too. They have to wait for you to know.

Underneath it all, I'm held captive by the hole inside...
Slowly but surely, it's healing.
It still hurts.
Scars can hurt from the memories.
But it's healing.

I keep holding back for the fear that you might change your mind...
What if this is too good to be true?
I could barely handle it the first time.
What if it happens again?

I'm ready to forgive you but forgetting is a harder fight...
Actions speak louder than words.
You may not remember what they said,
But you will always remember how it made you feel.

Little do you know I, need a little more time...
There are things I have to work out.
It'll take time.
I won't know for certain for a while.
Have patience.

Little do you know I know you're hurting while I'm sound asleep...
I won't say it.
I don't want you to feel worse.
It'll be better soon.

Little do you know all my mistakes are slowly drowning me...
That's why I haven't told you everything.
You're trying so hard.
Forgive yourself, please.

Little do you know I'm trying to make it better piece by piece...
I know.
But you can try harder.
Don't do what you did before.

Little do you know I, need a little more time...
Give me time.
I'm young and uncertain.
I don't have the answers right now.
I promise that when I do...
You'll know.
