"Where is the evidence?" Oreana asked leaping into action. It was a chaos, the voices all rolled into angry shouts of resentment. They have been wronged, but moreover they have been fooled.

Jerek met her halfway with my tablet in hand, his eyes wide and steps frantic, no one saw that coming and if we haven't taken the risk today then we would always have been in the dark.

The ones who were more controlled stepped forward to look into the evidence, they all stumbled closer and I was pulled along with them in a circle around Oreana and Jerek. Oreana's face was pinched in anger, her nose flaring like a fire breathing dragon and eyes glaring at the screen.

"What now?" Someone yelled out from somewhere in the crowd and the chatter started like a wave, droning the hall in a buzz.

I took a step forward, facing them, "we need to send these evidence to my brother, he is a lawyer he can more than exploit this in our favour," my voice rang in the hall hushing the unnecessary commotion.

"We can't send anything to anyone outside of Urydale, their system jams every signal," Yasmin spoke up to remind me. I nodded at her.

"But, I was able to send those documents to Kayden before," I was hesitant, I didn't know about their systems but I was still able to contact Kayden in the school.

"Where were you then?" Oreana spoke up, stealing my attention.

"At the school, near the teacher's office." I replied, turning to face her.

"You must have found a loop by accident. The only way to send these evidences is to find a loop and the station is the only place where the network is not jammed," She said in one breath and I took in a sharp breath. I can't go to the station again. We won't get out this time.

"Wait, I think I will be able to access one from here, the processor of this tablet is remarkable, the range can be stretched further and I will be able to get in the loop from here," Jerek rushed out and I gave a thankful sigh.

"We can send the documents from here?" I asked again, eager to get a confirmation.

"How long will it take?" Skye's voice asked from the crowd as he stepped inside the circle. I clenched my teeth and stepped back, shuffling to stand beside Yasmin.

"About 3 hours," Jerek replied.

"Okay then get started," Oreana patted Jerek on his back, he walked to step out of the crowd and received hugs of acknowledgement as he went. I smiled for a second as Jerek's face glowed as he basked in the grateful faces all around him.

"Listen up," Oreana clapped her hands twice and we directed our eyes and ears to her. "We need to stay here for three hours but not all of us can be here. It is almost time and we need to get the children back in their homes."

Everyone agreed at once, nodding their heads and murmuring their compliance.

"Who is going to stay then?"

"Twenty of us. Me, Zane, Skye, Ariel, Jerek, Terina, Ian, Yasmin, Mason..." Oreana called out the names and we stepped away from the crowd one by one as our names were called.

"So we are supposed to do nothing?" Someone called out in a thick baritone.

"No, you all need to keep your eyes and ears open, you all are our backup if anything goes wrong. But it won't, so you all can rest for some time," Oreana said and everyone dispersed with a goodbye.

I looked down at the concrete ground under my feet. I shifted slightly, bracing my arms on either side of me. We are sitting around the C shaped ramp, some are sitting, some are standing and Oreana is pacing. Twenty of us stayed behind, just to be cautious and the rest of us took the kids home safely.
