I woke up and Payton was there asleep I hung up and went to the bathroom brushed my teeth and went out griffin and Jaden was still not there so it was just me I went back to the bed and Bailey came in
Bailey: hey want are you doing up so early
S: idk
She walked over to me and started to take out the iv
S: um what are we going to do about the tumor
Bailey: I'm waiting for your dad to come and we'll talk about it
S: am I going to die
Bailey: oh honey don't think that we are keeping you alive you don't have to worry
I started to cry and she was hugging me. I soon stoped and she put the iv in and Payton called again and I picked up
Payton: good morning
He said in a raspy voice
S: good morning
Payton: why did you hang up
S: I went to go pee
Payton: were you crying
S: no
Payton: yes you were what's wrong
S: nothing it was just something happened on the tv show
Payton: oh, well I'm going to school now so I'll probably talk at lunch
S: ok bye

I then hung up
Bailey: he doesn't know
S: only me Jaden and griffin
Bailey: why haven't you told anyone
S: idk I'm just scared
Bailey: why
S: I don't want to be 'the cancer girl'
Bailey: you can't do nothing about it and that's just a name it doesn't define you I knew you for 3 days know and you funny and smart if someone calls you 'the cancer girl' they don't deserve you

He walked in and sat beside me
G: you ok

Bailey went over to her chart
Bailey: ok so how we are going to treat it is by
I grabbed griffins hand and squeezed it
Bailey: um your going to take medicine every day, 4 times, and then we're going to go from there
Then here pager went off
Bailey: ok I need to go do you have any questions
I shook my head not being able to talk because this just hit me again like a train. She walked out and griffin got up and gave me a big hug and I started to cry into his shoulder we stayed there for 15 minutes then he got a call He looked at me for reassurance I nodded and he want out the room and took it. he shortly came in
G: it was Dixie she's coming
S: ok did you talk to Tayler
G: no but when I see him I am
S: is Dixie your girlfriend
G: I guess
S: have you asked her
G: no
S: then she's not
G: but I want her to be
S: then ask her
G: idk
S: what do you mean
G: with everything going on I do-
S: no if you want her to be your girlfriend the ask her
G: ok I'll ask her
S: yes
G: you now that kinda makes her your mom
S: yeah

We were watching tv when Bailey came back in
Bailey: ok here's you pills take 2 of them at 7am, 11am,4pm, and at 9pm or when you go to bed
S: ok
She gave them to me and then left
S: what time is it
G: almost 11 go ahead and take them
I grabbed two of them and out them in my mouth and drunk water and swallowed them I looked at griffin and he was just staring at me in shock
S: what
G: h-how d-did yo-you do that
S: do what
G: swallowed those pills so fast
S: it easy
He just keep looking at me then shook his head and looked back at his phone. soon Dixie came in
Dixie: hey
S: hi
she gave me a hug then went to griffin
D: hey
G: hey
She sat next to them and doctor Bailey came back in
Bailey: ok so if the pills don't work we are going to have to do surgery to get the tu-
She stopped when she looked up from her clipboard and seen me put my hand across my neck referencing her to stop
D: a what
S: nothing, it's nothing
D: skye do you have a tumor
S: yes I have a tumor I have cancer ok it's nothing just leave it alone
The room went silent everyone looking at me
Bailey: I was saying you might have surgery it's a 80% chance you will tho
Then she left the room and Dixie spoke
D: I need to go get some air real quick
She got up and left
S: she's not coming back just because I have cancer
G: she's coming back she's just in shocked like you were when you found out
S: why did this have to happen to me
I said starting to cry
G: hey hey don't cry it's going to be ok there's nothing to worry about
S: except I could die
He looked at me and I looked at him
G: stop don't ever think that, don't ever, because your not going to die you might not even have to have surgery your going to be fine your staying with me your not leaving by my side. No matter what
I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him he hugged back and we stayed like that until we heard someone walk back into the room I looked and it was Dixie I looked back at griffin
G: told you
I laughed a little she cane over and gave me a hug and whispered
D: don't stop fighting
S: I won't also griffin likes you
D: I kinda figured
We laughed then Bailey came back
Bailey: you need to eat and you can get out stitches out
S: ok
She gave me a plate with eggs and toast and started to take out the stitches I finished eating the whole thing this time
G: ay you finished it
S: yeah
