Dinner wrapped up pretty swiftly, and although the mood had been dampened by Seyeon's breakdown, a few of the boys had cracked some jokes to both raise the mood, and to cheer up Seyeon.

She would chuckle at their stupidity before leaning into Jisung's chest. Of course this meant that Jisung and Jaemin has swapped places.

Chenle had rejoined the meal, seeming less distracted and genuinely nice in Seyeon's opinion.

Obviously by his reappearance, that meant that the other three boys had returned from their job. And so they sat with everyone, sharing stories from the rather difficult day they had been through.

So when everyone started to yawn a little, eyes drooping with the settling fatigue, Seyeon grew weary.

Now she would have to return to the hell hole of a basement, and although she had spent weeks in it, she still couldn't stomach the scent of mould that crawled through the damp - and frankly, freezing - room.

"Shall I escort you to your luxurious room?" Jisung asked, his cold facade going down the drain upon noticing no one else there anymore.

Seyeon couldn't help but feel disappointed by two things. Not only was Jisung acting weird, having two personalities depending on how he felt, but she knew that once she woke up the next morning, all would be as it was before.

These boys were working damn hard for what they had, and they weren't letting anything distract them. Especially not a girl.

"You shall!" She replied, eyes falling to the floor as Jisung looped his arm with her's. She then proceeded to lean her weight against the much taller male, small whimpers falling from her mouth as she took a particularly painful step in her not fully healed leg.

Taking care with the speed, Jisung couldn't help but let a small - but genuine - smile grace his features.

This feeling was so indescribable, but he didn't know what it was.

He hadn't felt this way. Not in a long time anyway. His chest was pounding, and he could almost feel the shadows of pink that lingered on his cheeks.

What was this?

He shook his head, knowing how disappointed Renjun would be in him.

That was the thing...As much as Jisung yearned for some form of freedom, he had been groomed by the leader to be a certain person. He had long since lost who the old Jisung had been.

"What has you frowning?" Seyeon asked, quickly ruffling her hair with her free hand.

"Nothing much," he choked out, eyes nervously darting around the room.

"Whatever you say, sir."
