Silent tears slid down Harmony's face as she was curled up in a ball on her bed. This girl at school had told her she was ugly and pulled her hair. Harmony heard a knock on the door and muttered a shaky 'come in.'
The door opened with a slight sqeak as the person walked in. Harmony heard something being set on her stand beside her television, and seconds later felt a dip.
"Hi sweetie." Her mom whispered as she laid down next to her.
"Hi mom." She whispered.
"I brought you sent of your favorite cookies."
This caught Harmony's attention. "Sugar cookies,with sprinkles?" She lifted her head slightly.
