The powerful roar of my bike slowly dulled as i pulled up to Derek's loft, pulling off my helmet the cool summer morning breeze flew through my wavy dark brown hair.

Slowly i grabbed my black leather duffel bag and made my way to the entrance of the tall industrial building, as I went to go in I stopped looking at my self in the reflecting window, fixing up my clothing that was wind blown from the ride.

I was wearing black skinny jeans, black combat boots, a black lace crop top, a black leather jacket, a black & gold choker and a black bracelet.

Now i think about it I don't actually own much colour clothing just well black. My makeup however did have some colour, with a head turning, bright red lipstick and a nice purplish eye shadow.

I took a deep breathe as i looked at the hundreds of thousands of stairs that i had to go up to Derek's loft, for fucks sake, he really needs to invest in an elevator.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

As i got closer i could here voices coming from the loft

'What was he like?' Stiles asked

'A lot like Scott, actually' Peter replied 'A lot like most teenagers unbearably romantic, profoundly narcissistic, tolerable really only to other teenagers'

'So what happened? What changed him?' Stiles questioned

'Well the same thing that changes a lot of young men' Peter started to explain

"A girl" I finish waltzing in dropping my bag to the floor, "and dude tell your brother to put in an elevator" i said sitting on Derek's desk next to Cora swinging my legs facing the window

"You're telling me some girl broke his little heart? That's why Derek is the way he is? Stiles said in disbelief

Looking out to the town below I started zoning out thinking about the course of the past week or so, analysing every incident that has happened from Derek's 'death' to Boyd's. Everything.

I could bearly look at Peter knowing what had happened. I broke his trust and he doesn't even know it yet.

"V".... "Vanessa".... "Vanessa" Peter called softly pulling me out of my train of thought

"Mmm" I hummed in response

"You ok sweetheart" he asked tucking a strand of hair behind my ear

Only now do I realise he's standing in front of me, "Yeah, I'm fine" I said giving him a ghost of a smile, the guilt eating me alive

"Maybe you should go lay down" Peter suggested giving me a light kiss on the forehead "you look horrible"

"Wow. Thaaanks" I replied sarcastically hopping off the bench, "I'll see you later" I said walking towards the stairs

"Hey! Where do you think you're going" Peter said playfully while grabbing my hand, pulling me into him and wrapping his arms around my waist, "Give me a kiss first" he said pouting

I let out a little laugh, shaking my head at his antics giving him a little kiss on the lips.

"You're going to have to do better than that, if you want me to let you go" He playfully threatened with a smirk plaster to his face

A grin spread out on across my face, "And what if I don't want you to let me go" I whispered, my lips hovering above his

And in that moment four simple words made my world stop.

"God I love you"
