Sometime in July 2011

Molly's P.O.V

I get woken up by an 'SOS' text from Calum. Usually, we'd use that text whenever there's a major problem.

What kind of major problem would make me wake up at 9 in the morning?

So I decided to give him a call to see if I would have to come over.

After 1 ring, he answers.

"What up Cal, and why did you wake-" I say as I get cut off.

"Molls, I really need you like now. Come to my place and I'll drive around and tell you." He says and then hangs up. He's lucky I live close to him.

I get to his place and he's just sitting at the front. He looks nervous, his leg is shaking constantly and he looks like he's about to explode.

"Now, since you look like a nervous wreck, let me drive and you talk. Let's play therapist today." I say and he hands the keys over.

We drive around for a few minutes with the radio on to ease his tension. Music has been our way of calming each other down.

"Alright Cal. Dr.Saunders is here to help. Tell me what's up." I say in this cheery mood, but he ain't having it.

"Ok, so, my parents think I'm going to take that soccer scholarship for college." He says.

Ok, so yes, Calum is 2 years, younger than me, but since he had some stellar soccer skills for a 15-year-old, he was offered a scholarship at some school who were looking for players such as him.

"You still haven't said yes. Damn, I would've said yes in a heartbeat." I say and he gives me a glare.

"Continue." I say.

"So, I haven't told them what I wanted to do yet." He says.

"Well, what do you want to do?" I say.

"Music. I wanna make music with the guys and just....have fun." He says.

"Then why don't you tell them?" I say.

"Have you met my parents?....wait, you have." He says then goes quiet.

"I'd say if you wanna do music, get the damn guts and tell them" I say.

"Damn, harsh much." He says.

"It's the truth. If you wanna go for music, you gotta get the guts to say it." I say as I punch him in the arm. It's our thing. We attack each other, but I got lucky since he can't get me.

"Rude! Why you gotta do that?" He says.

"Do you have the guts yet?" I say

"No." He says so I punch him again.

"Gosh, who you gotta be like that?" He says.

"I'm getting you to act tough so you can say what you want to do without holding back. If it makes you comfortable, we get ice cream after a nice trip to the mall." I say.

"It's been a good minute since we went there." He says.

"Good thing you said yes cause Luke and Michael are coming along." I say.

"Molls! I only tell you these things. Why you gotta be so rude?" He says.

"Noooooo! I didn't tell them anything. I was going with them anyways. I was gonna ask you when I woke up, but you asked to meet me before I could say anything." I say.

"Aww, and this is why you're my favorite. Don't tell Michael and Luke." He says and I lock my mouth and throw away the key.

"If it makes you feel any better, I can come by your place when you tell them. I can come for moral support." I say.
