💛 Mammon x Reader 💛

For all you Mammon lovers out there ;)

[In this one shot, Mammon denies his feelings for you but he's very transparent]

First person - Y/N

"Why's there always nothing to eat." I grumble. I slam the fridge shut and hear a laugh. I jump and whip around.

"Jesus, Satan! You scared me."

He chuckles. "Sorry about that. Anyways, there's no food because of Beel. Can't you think logically Y/N?"

I roll my eyes. "Shut up."

"No you shut up." He mocks.

I walk over to him and shove him playfully. "Maybe-"

"What the hell's goin' on here?" Mammon growls, peeking his head around the corner.

I shrug. "Playful banter."

Strutting over, he pouts. "You can only do playful banter with me."

Satan crosses his arms. "You don't own Y/N."

Mammon bears his teeth. "Oh yeah? Lemme-"

"Stop it, both of you. I'm going to sleep."

"Night, Y/N." Satan says cheerily.

I wave and as I pass Mammon, he gives me a quick peck on the cheek. I stop and stare at him. He crosses his arms and looks away, face red. As I walk back to my room, I touch my cheek gingerly. My face turns red hot. I open and close my door, collapsing on my bed. Maybe I like it that he's so overprotective of me?

"Mornin', Y/N."

I scream and jump out of bed. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, MAMMON?"

He gets out of my bed and yawns. "Hey to you too."

I run my fingers through my H/C hair. "Seriously. What're you doing in my bed?!"

He shrugs. "Just showing how much you mean to me."

"By scaring the crap out of me?"

"Knock knock~!" Asmo comes in, "Morning, beautiful! And... morning to you too, Mammon. Wait. Mammon? What are you doing here?"

He stays silent. "He was scaring me." I say simply.

"Ooh... has this got to do about Mammon liking you, Y/N?"

I roll my eyes. I knew what Mammon was gonna say next. "W-What? Oh, Asmo. Quite the jokester! I don't like Y/N!"

"You're as transparent as glass, Mammon." Asmo prances up to me and gives me a long hug.

Mammon grits his teeth. Asmo pulls away and smirks at Mammon. "Mammon, are you jealous?"

"Hmph. No. Why would I be jealous? I'm goin' to breakfast." He turns away and walks out the door.

Asmo sighs and shakes his head. "I don't get why he can't just reveal his truth feelings for you, Y/N." He walks away as I blush. Maybe I could encourage Mammon to express his feelings for me.

"Mm! Yum... *gobble*." Beel scarfs down his food.

Lucifer sighs tiredly. "Beel, please. Manners."

Satan rolls his eyes. "He's Beel, Lucifer. You can't change the way he is."

I set my cutlery down and clear my throat. "Mammon, can I talk to you in private?"

Mammon laughs nervously. "W-What? Why'd ya wanna talk to me? Did I do somethin'? Because The Great Mammon doesn't usually make time for humans. But I suppose just this once..."

I hop out of my seat. "Great! Come on."

I lead him out into the hallway, and I look up at him. He's avoiding eye contact with me. "Mammon?"

"Hmm? Yeah."

"Er... is it true about what your brothers always say? That you... like me?"

He chuckles nervously, then scoffs. "N-No! Of course not. They're just bein' childish, Y/N- I mean, human! Y-Yeah. I don't like ya."

Disappointment overwhelms me. I tuck my hair behind my ear and inhale sharply. "A-Alright, then. See you around."

As I walk away, Mammon calls after me. "O-Oh, c'mon now! Don't go bein' disappointed that The Great Mammon doesn't like ya! Human! I mean- Y/N!"

His voice fades as I shut my room door. I hug my knees as I sit on the floor. I guess I was too stupid to believe he would ever like me. Scumbag.

There's a rap at my door. "Go away!" I yell.

Silence, then it comes again. "I said go away!"

"Y/N!" Mammon whines desperately.

I groan and stand up. I know he'd never go away. I open the door. "Alright, listen here. Mammon-"

He grabs my face and kisses me. I hesitate then wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back. Our mouths move in perfect sync; they seem to be made for each other. He pulls away and walks me into my room, shutting the door with his foot.

"Let's have some fun, eh, Y/N?"
