(You're dating Levi, but he isn't putting much effort into your relationship...)

First person - Y/Ns POV

"...and, open your eyes!"

Slowly, my eyes flick open. I'm shocked to see a cozy mattress set up with a fluffy blanket, pillows and food. "L-Levi? What's all this?"

He grins shyly. "We're going to spend some quality gaming time together! I-Is that alright?"

I glance at my wonderful otaku boyfriend. "Of course! If anything, it's perfect," Settling on the mattress, I look at all the food, "This is a lot of food. Won't Beel swing by?"

He parks himself next to me, powering on the gaming console. "Why do you think I gave him a coupon for Hell's Kitchen?"

I laugh, shoving him lightly. "You sneaky devil."

He hums as he hands me a remote. "Here. There's a really rare spirit we can catch in Mononoke Land!" (A/N: i realise that Mononoke Land is only available on a D.D.D. we're gonna pretend it's not)

As we're playing, I'm about to announce that I've found the spirit when his D.D.D starts ringing. He sets down his remote and picks up. "...hi? No way! NO WAY! Okay, I'm getting on right now!"

He scrambles up and rushes over to his laptop. He winces then turns around. "Y-Y/N, sorry, but I've gotta do something else."

I blink. "Er... that's fine. What is it?"

"Sucre Frenzy's live!" He swivels his chair around and his eyes lock onto the screen.

I sigh. Welp. There's no point talking to him now. I murmur a goodbye then walk out, gently closing the door.

I walk around, unsure of what to do. I usually hang out with the other brothers when Levi games, but lately he'd been spending a lot of time with me. I smile slightly. He has been spending a lot of time with me. I shouldn't get upset over this. Yeah. It's fine.

The next morning

I glance up as a presence enters the room. "Levi!" I exclaim, "I've got breakfast sort out for us. I told Lucifer you were sick and I convinced him to let me stay with you. We can spend the whole day together," I pat the seat next to me, "Starting with breakfast. The others have left for RAD already."

Levi smiles uncertainly, sitting down next to me. "A-Ah, thanks, Y/N. This is really... sweet." He gulps down a glass of water and grabs a slice of bread (A/N: Devildom bread or whatever)

"Gotta run!" He speeds off.

"Wait Levi-" My voice falters as he exits the room. Right. Maybe I'll just go hang around outside... get some fresh air.

I place myself on a bench, watching the dark sky.

"Aren't you supposed to be taking care of Levi?"

I glance to my right. "Solomon?"

He sets a basket down. "Lucifer's sent me with some custard. He wants me to check on Levi."

"By that, you mean he wants you to make sure Levi's actually sick."

"Indeed. I brought some custard for him. And you, if you wish. According to Lucifer, he didn't see Levi at all last night. Is he so sick that he's unable to move? Is he close to death?"

I grit my teeth. "Oh, if he's not close to dead already, he will be soon."

"What was that?"

I let out a forced laugh. "Nothing."

"Tell me if something is wrong, Y/N."

"Thank you for the custard, Solomon. I'll pass them on to Levi." I whisk the basket off the bench and hurry off before he can interrogate me further.

*Knock knock* "Levi?" I slowly open the door to see Levi fast asleep on his bed. I smile softly. He looks so cute and peaceful... I slip into the room, closing the door behind me and setting the basket on a table. I worm my way into his bed, wrapping his arms around me.

"Mhm...?" He mumbles.

"Do you want me to go?" I whisper.

"...no. You help me sleep better." He lets out a small yawn, and falls back asleep.

I close my eyes. This is how it should be.

"GOT YOU! Die, you scum! Never underestimate an otaku! Haha!"

I bolt up to see Levi hunched over his computer. "Levi, could you keep it down?"

"If you want quiet, get out of my room and go to your own- AW COME ON! Hm? Oh, her? That's no one." He says into a headset.

My heart cracks. "Right." I swiftly leave the room, unable to look at him once more.

This happens for the next week or so. He's always either watching anime or playing a game. He hardly looks at me or even talks to me. One day, I got sick of all of it.

"Hey, Levi?" I tap him on the shoulder.

He clicks furiously. "Not now, Y/N."

"Levi." I hiss.

He turns, brow furrowed. "I'm in the middle of a game."

I take a deep breath. It's for my own good. "I'm breaking up with you."

He's looking at his screen. "Hm? Oh, alright. We can get lunch. Later. In an hour, or so."

"I said I'm breaking up with you!" I yell.

He meets my eyes, shocked. "I-... what?"

"This... this relationship is going nowhere. I feel like I'm the only one putting effort into this relationship! Which is why, we're over. I'm sorry, but maybe it's best for both of us." I turn and stalk out of the room, tears escaping as he doesn't call out to me.

A month later

This month is hell. It's hard, living in the same house as your ex. I mean, I've seen him more in this month than the months we were dating. The brothers know we broke up, and it was obvious that they were constantly walking on egg shells around both of us.

On the bright side, Solomon and I have been getting close. Really, close.

He grins. "Us humans got to stick together, right?"

I kiss his cheek. "Right."

He takes my hand. "You know I'd never leave you, right?"

I blush a little as he says those words. "Of course. I trust you, Solomon."

He kisses my lips gently, then pulls me into a hug. As I look over his shoulder, I see Levi watching us from a distance. I bite my lip as we make eye contact. He looks forlorn, and he turns and walks away. I push his face to the back of my mind. I'm past him. Solomon's the only one for me. He won't hurt me or leave me. I trust him. I love him.
