Ellie's P.O.V

I wake up without a shirt on for some reason. I sit up and look around. No one was with me. I sigh and get up. I put on my shirt and hoodie. I also grab my gear. I walk out and see a poster.

"The war, the merrier." I smile.

"Hey look Joel.. It's your favorite." My smile fades.

I keep walking until I see red lights.

"Dina?" I yell.

"Jesse?" I walk to the red curtains.

I open them and I see myself on the stage. I notice Valentina on a chair on the front row where I sat. I walk to her.

"Val. Wake up." I try to wake her up.

She frowns and moves slightly,"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I was just looking for Dina."
"Oh."

She gets up and puts on her pack. We both walk across the red carpet.

"Where are those two?" I say.

I open the door and there they are. Jesse was sitting in a chair looking at Dina. Then his gaze turned to us. He stood up. I slowly walk over to Dina. She doesn't look too good. Jesse nods his head. I follow him out another door. We walk to a balcony. I have an itch and scratch the back of my ear. Jesse leans against the balcony and Valentina puts a hand on his shoulder. I look down at the stage.

"She had a rough night." Jesse breaks the silence.

"Barely could get her to keep water down."
"You should've woken me up." I say.

He doesn't respond. I look back at the stage.

"Is she pregnant?"

I didn't know if I should answer that question.

"Yeah." I say.

He scoffs.

"I get why you came out here. But we gotta take her back. She needs real care and she's not gonna get that--"
"Yeah I know. I know." I look at my hands and sigh.

"But I can't just leave Tommy. He's out here because of me." I look at Jesse.

"Maybe you can take her back?" I suggest.
"She's not gonna leave without you."
"Yeah.." I look at the ceiling.
"Screw it. Let's get Tommy. This aquarium that girl told you about. Tommy hasn't found Abby yet. We'll post up there until he does."
"And you're good with leaving Dina by herself?"
"Her orders." Jesse says with a hand on his hip.
"Okay."

"Let's go tell her we're leaving then."
"I'll just meet you out front."
"Yeah."

Jesse and Valentina walk outside together. I do miss her as mine but I have Dina now. I look down and walk inside the room she was in.

Valentina's P.O.V

Ellie went to Dina to tell her we are leaving. I go with Jesse.

"So. She's pregnant huh?" I look at him
"Dina and I.. We used to date."
"Does this mean?"
"Yeah. I got her pregnant." Jesse stops and looks at me.
"And you're telling me this now."
"You didn't ask." He's playing with me.
"What?" I say confused.

Jesse takes the chair off the door's handles. He opens the door.
"Ladies first." He says.
"Thank you." I smile.

I walk out and he follows behind.

"You ready?" He asked
"Nope."

Jesse chuckles.

"This is nice." I say looking at the rain.
"Looks nice. But it'll be somewhat of an obstacle."
"This is the only nice time we have together."
"You're right."

Jesse slams me against a closed door. He is smiling.

"Oh.." I say.

I put my hand under his chin and kiss him.

"You will be alright right?" I hear Ellie say.
"Yeah."

Ellie walks out to see if we are there.
"Woah." She says looking at us.

Jesse backs away from me. I just smile.

"Okay.. Bye babe." Ellie says kissing Dina.

Dina closes the door and "locks" it.

"Let's do it." Jesse says.

"Your map showed the aquarium along the shore. Should be down this way."
"Yeah. Ugh how does anyone stay dry in this city?"
"Never I guess." I say.

"C'mon. I'll help you up." Jesse says.
"Okay baby."

He gets ready and I run and put my foot on his hand. I reach up as he lifts me up.

"Okay. Your turn Ellie." He says.

Ellie nods and runs at him placing her foot on his hand. She reached up and I grabbed her hand. Jesse boosts her up and I pull her up. I smile at her. Her face changes from serious to soft.

"Thanks." She also smiles back.
"Yeah."

Jesse ran up and Ellie and I helped him up. He stood and we jogged.

"What'd you tell Dina?" Jesse asked.
"That we're hoping to find Tommy at the aquarium. I didn't.. Tell her you knew if that's what you're--"
"I wasn't."

"This aquarium a wolf base?" Jesse asked
"I don't think so. Nora said Abby's hiding out there."
"Oh. Did you get her to tell you why they did it?" I questioned.
"Yeah. Uh.." She cleared her throat.

"Joel had a falling out with some Fireflies. Now former Fireflies."
"What kind of falling out?" I asked.
"He was a smuggler. And they disagreed about some goods. Fight broke out. Some of them died. Guess they wanted payback."
"Damn. That change anything for you?" Jesse said.
"Nope."
"I need to get clear on something. When we find Tommy, you're good with going home?"
"Yeah."
"You'd be leaving some of those assholes alive."
"Dina should be back in Jackson." Ellie said.

I just stayed silent.

"Okay good." Jesse responds.

We keep walking for about 15 minutes until I say something.

"Don't you ever worry they're going to come to Jackson after us?" I say.
"What do you mean?" Ellie asks.
"I mean we're going through a lot of their people.. In their city."
"Because of what they did." She snaps back.
"Alright." I say.
"Didn't Abby and her friends come to Jackson because of something Joel did?" Jesse blurted.
"This place isn't like Jackson. I mean.. Joel and Tommy helped Abby when she got attacked. These people are trying to kill everyone around them. I mean they shot you on sight didn't they?"
"Yeah they did. How long has Dina been this sick?" Jesse asked.
"Only a couple days. When she got here she fucked up a bunch of Wolves. You'd have been impressed." Ellie smiled.
"I bet." I say.
"You don't cross that girl." Jesse said.

We kept running without saying a word until we climbed over a window to get inside a building.

"I would've come you know. If you told me you were leaving." Jesse commented.
"I just.. I didn't think you'd be okay with all this." Ellie answered.
"I looked up to Joel. What happened to him was messed up. I would've come." Jesse said.
"I didn't really know Joel. But he saved me. He was a good guy. Too good for something shitty to happen to him." I muttered.
"So fucked up." Jesse barked.
"Yeah." Ellie said.

"Joel liked you a lot too you know. He thought I had  crush on you." Ellie added on and turned to Jesse.
"Really?" Jesse looked surprised.
"I mean.. You're handsome and whatever... But I'm not into your type."
"What? Asians?"
"Yeah. That's obviously what I meant."
"Good." I say.

The three of us laughed.

"I don't remember what my parents look like." I say.
"Me too." Ellie responds.
"I do. Mom's a sweetheart." Jesse says.

"She's gonna go crazy when she hears about this baby.."
"Sure. I can see that." Ellie said looking back at him.

We all keep going. Finding clues as we go on trying to find Tommy and Joel's killer.
