Ellie's P.O.V

I look at Dina. She is sweating and having a hard time sleeping. I tuck a string of hair behind her ear. I got closer to her. Hugged her. I love that feeling when she is in my arms, however something kept keeping me up. I sat up on the bed we have. I look back at Dina. She was looking for me with her arm. It was cute. I walked to a chair and put on my backpack. I walked out the door.

"Hey come check this out!"
"What? You got a plan?"
"I was thinking we cut through the lowlands, here."
"Hmm. Maybe."
"What about this? Through here?"
"Nah."
"Mm."
"That's not gonna work. It's completely covered in snow." Jesse says.

I open the curtains and walk through.

"No. By the time we get there, this while area'll be thawed." Tommy said.

They both look at me.
"Where ya going?" Tommy asks.
"Needed some air. What you guys doing up?" I simply said.
"Couldn't sleep."
"Come take a look at this."
"Wait where is Valentina?" I say looking around.
"Oh she's still sleeping." Jesse said smiling.
"Oh." I crouched and looked at the map.
"Thought is to head via Ellensburg." Jesse pointed at the map.
"If we're in fall city by tomorrow, we're doing good." Tommy comments.

I look at the map and my fingers.

"Hey." Tommy said.
I looked at Jesse and Tommy.

"They got what they deserved."
"But she gets to live."
"Yeah." Tommy sighed.

"Is that okay?" He asked.
I shake my head and look down,"It has to be."

Jesse sighs.

"I'm really not looking forward to going through Idaho again." Tommy huffed.
"What you should be worried about is what Maria's gonna do to you when we get home." Jesse looked at Tommy.
"We've been through worse." Tommy said.

I got up and sat on the edge of the stage

"However. I was passing through some ritzy section of town, came across this necklace. It sparkles a lot, I think it's real gold."
"You think it's real gold." Jesse questions.
"It's real gold."
"Let's see it." Jesse said.
"I know what gold looks like." Tommy laughs.
"If it's legit can we say it's from all of us?" Jesse asked Tommy
"Ha! You find your own damn bribes." Tommy said and walked away.

There was a long silence.

"How you doing?" Jesse asked me.
"Fine." I looked at a chair.
"Ellie."
"Fine." I repeated myself again.

"Thanks for coming back for me." I sigh.
"My friend's problems are my problems."
"You're such a sap."
Alright how about, my friends can't get out of their own damn way?"
"That's better." I say looking back down.

I hear a loud sound. Like something fell to the floor.

"Shit!" I say.

Jesse and I ran to where Tommy was. When we opened the door Jesse was shot in the face.

"Jesse?" I look at Jesse. He had a hole in his face.
"Stand up!" I hear a familiar voice say.

"Hands in the air or I shoot this one too."
"Don't you do it Ellie. Get out of here!" Tommy said.
"Stand up now!"
"Don't you fucking dare!"
"Shut the fuck up!"

I hear Tommy groan.

"Fuck." I say.
"Alright."
"Stop stop!" I get up out of hiding with my hands up.
"Toss your weapon. Toss your weapon!" She yells.
"Fuck!" I say and throw my gun.
"No.. No." Tommy says laying on the floor.
"I know why you killed Joel. He did what he did to save me. There's no cure because of me. I'm the one you want. Just let him go. " I say.
"You killed my friends.. We let you both live and you wasted it!" Abby said pointing her gun at me.

Valentina's P.O.V

I hear strange sounds and run to the back of a room.

"Valentina!" Ellie yelled with her hands up.
"What the fuck is going on?" I say.
"Hands up!" It's that girl.
"Fuck." I whisper.

I look at a body laying on the floor.

"Jes.." My eyes start getting watery.

"Jesse!" I yell and kneel down to his body.

"You fucking bitch!" I yell at Abby.

She comes to me and kicks my face. I fall backwards and land in my back.

"Val!" Ellie shouts.

"Get up! Hands in the air!" She yells.

I try to get up. When I do I put my hands in the air.

"Valentina?" Abby says.
"Yeah?" I say.
"Valentina stone?" Abby says my full name.
"How did.." I was confused.
"We were friends back then." Abby looked at me. Still with a angry face.
"I think I remember." I say.
"You two know each other?" Ellie asked.
"Yeah." I responded.
"Used to. But you killed my friends." Abby pointed her gun at me.
"I.." I didn't know his to respond.
"She didn't kill them. I did." Ellie said.

I was still crying, looking down at Jesse's body.

Ellie's P.O.V

So Abby and Valentina knew each other..

"Wait!" Someone yelled.

Tommy tackled Abby.

"Get off of her!" A kid yelled.

Tommy yelled in pain when an arrow went through his leg. Abby shot him.

"Tommy!" I yelled.

I got down when Abby aimed her gun at me. She kept shooting at me and I grabbed Valentina's hand and we both left through the door. They ran after us and I kept shooting at Abby. We left and went inside a door. When Abby opened the door I yelled at her.

"Mother fucker!" I hit her with a wood plank.

She slammed me against the wall. I got my knife out and tried to put it anywhere in her. She held my hand so I couldn't get to her. Valentina punched her face making Abby loosen her grip on me. She threw me to the floor and kicked Valentina away. Valentina fell and hit her head on a box, she landed on the floor on her back. I quickly got up and shot at Abby. She hid behind the boxes and crates. It was like this until she came behind me. She turned me around and punched me in the face. She took me in a choke hold. I had to do something so I bit her arm.

"Ahh!" She yelled.

She pushed me to the ground and was on top of me. I tried to knife her but was not able to. She slammed me on the ground until it broke and we fell down. I got up and took my shotgun out.
"Mother fucker!" I yelled.

She must've went around the crates because she punched me various times from the opposite direction. She held my head and kicked my stomach with her knee. I grunted every time she punched me. She threw me to the floor and sat on me. She kept punching my face. I hear screaming. It was Dina. She sung her knife trying to cut Abby, Dina then got hit by an arrow. Abby took her head and slammed Dina against the wooden lids. The forth time Dina was unconscious.

"Stop."

"Stop!" I yell.

Abby got her knife and had it against Dina's neck.

"She had nothing to do with this." I tried saying while blood was coming down my face from everywhere.

"She's pregnant." I said.
"Good." She said.
"Abby!" The kid yelled.

Abby looked at the kid. Then threw Dina aside. She stood up and walked to me. I could see her. I was coughing up blood.
"Don't ever let me see you again." She said.

"Come on." She told the kid.

Together they left. I looked over at Dina. She was laying there without moving. Jesse was dead. Tommy I hope he is okay. Let's hope Valentina is okay as well.
