Rosie Peddleton was twelve years old, she had a perfect life, three olders brother Robbie, Charlie and William and a wonderful mother and father, Annabeth and Rodger. She lived in a grand old house in the England country side.

It was 1935, Rosie was outside, laying in the grass, just outside the back court yard, drawing a picture of her brother Charlie holding his camera, he was always taking pictures. She looked up to see Charlie running from the woods. He looked terrified and was sweating.

"Rosie in the house now" he said as calm was he could.

Rosie stood up.

"What is the matter?" asked Rosie.

Charlie took her hand without a word.

"Charlie?" she questioned no answer.

He stormed in the house.

"Robbie! Father!" he yelled.

They both came in.

"Rosie go upstairs" said Charlie.

She didn't argue and left up the stairs.

"What is the matter?" asked Rodger.

"Jane Mallory has been murdered" said Charlie.

"What?" questioned Robbie.

"I found her body in the woods, while I was taking pictures" said Charlie.

"Robbie call down to the station, Charlie come with me" said Rodger.

"What's all the bustle and hustle about" asked Annabeth.

"There has been a murder" said Rodger.

"What!" said Annabeth.

"Jane Mallory" said Charlie.

Annabeth was taken aback.

 "Where is William?" asked Rodger.

"He is up in his room, I suppose" said Annabeth.

"Rosie is upstairs to" said Rodger, "Rosie I assume needs some comforting" said Rodger.

Annabeth left. Rodger and Charlie went to the tea room.

"Charles, did you see anyone else around?" asked Rodger.

"No, father, I saw no one, else" said Charlie.

"This is no good" said Rodger.

"What do you mean?" asked Charlie.

"You were the only one there, you shall be a suspect" said Rodger.

"I did not do it" said Charlie.

"I know, but you need to come up with clear evidence" said Rodger, "Mr. Mallory is one of the richest men around."

Charlie was now scared.

Upstairs, Annabeth was with William and Rosie.

"Mother, what is going on?" asked Rosie.

"Its nothing, Robbie, Charlie and your father will take care of it" said Annabeth, sitting down next to her. Ms. Tatchel came in the maid.

"Whats all the fuss about?" asked Ms. Tatchel.

"What is going on?" asked William walking in.

"William stay here with your sister, Gertie come with me" said Annabeth.

Annabeth and Ms. Tatchel left.

"Rosie?" asked William.

"I do not know, Charlie came running from the woods all upset" said Rosie.
