It's Sunday today and I woke up late, as usual. I checked my phone and turned on the WiFi. I received a DM from Nathan.

To be honest, when I met Nathan I rarely rolled my eyes, rarely cared less about my surroundings and most of all, I learned how to love the things that I don't even knew existed before. Like being their cheerleader and his teasemate. I tried to avoid him a further as I can because I'm afraid to fall for him not because I don't want to, but I can't, hindi ko kayang magmahal at hindi ko siya kayang saktan. He's too precious and innocent to be hurt by some shit like me.
I went back to thoughts when I suddenly heard my phone ringing. I looked at the caller's ID and saw the name on it.
Incoming Call.....
Nathan V.
I answered it and sat on my bed.
"oh?" I started.
[wala akong magawa dito saamin huhu]
"magdilig ka ng halaman" I suggested.
[e! wala naman kaming halaman]
"mga damo sa gilid gilid" I sarcastically suggested.
[funny mo naman]
"edi wow, wanna come over?" I asked.
[h—huh? di mo naman sinabi mamamanhikan na pala ako, edi sana nakapagready ako diba]
"kung ayaw mo it's—" he cut me off.
[gusto ko no! on the way!]
I ended the call and laughed a bit. I heard a knock on my door.
"Shaznei?" I walk towards the door and opened it. I saw my mom.
"your tita asked me to baby sit your cousin for a while, but I got an urgent meeting with the executives" mom informed me.
"you want me to look after her?" I asked.
"exactly, honey" she said.
"I won't say no!" I said and smiled excitedly.
"you have no choice anyway, you can't say no" she said and laughed a bit. Awkward.
"uh, where is she?" I asked.
"guest room, I really have to go, take care, bye" she said and waved her goodbye.
I got out of my room and made my way to the guest room. I opened the door and saw her playing with her play house and dolls.
"hi Vielle!" I put my hands on my knees and greeted her. Gulat siyang humarap pero ngumiti rin at tumayo.
"cousin!" she said and hugged my knees.
"hello, let's go to my room" umayos ako ng tayo at hinawakan ang kamay niya.
"your room changed a lot!" she said cutely.
Umikot ikot siya para tignan ang mga bagay bagay. tinext ko si Nathan na pumasok nalang pagdumating na siya dahil wala naman ang parents ko. I took a picture of Vielle and posted it on my story.
I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and I saw Nathan.
"hi!—" he got cut off by something.
Humigop siya ng todo saka nilaki ang mga mata.
"m—may anak ka?" tanong niya habang hindi inaalis ang tingin kay Vielle.
"no, pinsan ko yan, pasok" sabi ko.
Tumango siya ng dahan dahan at pumasok.
"anong gagawin natin dito?"
"ikaw nagyaya dito e, bahay bahayan tayo gusto mo?" he asked.
"no, too messy" I scoffed.
Lumapit siya kay Vielle na pinaglalaruan ang mga picture frame ko.
"hi, anong pangalan mo?" Nathan asked
"what?" Vielle asked him back.
"di siya nakakaintindi ng tagalog" I informed him.
"spokening dollars ha! challenging!" he said and we both laughed.
"hi what's your name?" Nathan asked.
"my name is Sydney Vielle Villanueva" she said cutely.
"sobrang cute mo naman, how old are you?" Nathan asked again.
She showed her age through her little fingers, 3.
"you know what? when I was on your age, I was also three" he made Vielle and I laugh.
The time went fast and I went downstairs to cook something since it's getting dark. Iniwan ko muna si Vielle kay Nathan at saka bumaba para magluto.
"di nga pala ako marunong magluto" umiling iling ako at umakyat ulit para kuhanin ang phone tapos manonood nalang ako ng tutorial since day off ng cook.
Binuksan ko ng konti ang pinto at nakita kong nakaupo si Nathan sa baba at kinakausap si Vielle.
"are you my cousin's boyfriend, kuya?"
"no haha, but soon!" he jokingly said, I chuckled.
"am I pretty?" Vielle asked and showed her big smile.
"of course! you look like ate Shaz" he said. That's sweet.
"kahit ganoon yung ate mo, crush ko yun haha, love ko nga ata e" he said.
"kuya, what are you saying po?" Vielle asked politely. Nathan stopped his laughter.
Pumasok na ako ng tuluyan at kinuha ang phone saka bumaba ulit. Naisipan kong magluto ng beef broccoli. Hinuhugasan ko na ang mga sangkap ng mag DM si Nathan.

I replied with 'sure gusto mo pati ikaw' he then replied but I didn't aim to read it.
I was done cooking and went upstairs. I opened the door and saw Nathan and Vielle sleeping. Nathan's hand was on Vielle's back, they're sleeping peacefully. I sat down on the bed.
"mukha kang tatay" sabi ko kahit alam kong hindi nila ako maririnig. Tatayo na sana ako ng magsalita si Nathan.
"tapos ikaw yung nanay" he suddenly said.
