<Gage Grant POV>

School was torture for me. I felt the locker room calling for me, begging, pleading, shouting at me to come clean. It's only been a week...before long the body is going to start decaying.

"Hey." Someone said, catching my attention.

Xavier stood in front of me, "You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah, sorry." I said shaking my head trying to rid it off the thought.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm ok. I just..." I looked around for Patton, "Can I have a hug?" I asked, holding my arms out after not seeing Patton.

He looked a bit taken back but smiled and hugged me tightly, "What's going ok?" He asked lightly rubbing my back.

"I just wanna go home." I whispered, hugging him tighter.

"Wanna talk about it?" He asked

"No, I can't. I just want a hug." I said and he nodded against me.

"Ok...ok..." He whispered, still rubbing my back.

Looking down the hall I saw Patton and quickly pulled away from Xavier who looked sad, "Hey Gege?" He asked

"Yeah?" I asked, focusing on my locker.

"Do you wanna go out on a date?" He asked nervously, making me stop mid turn in the locker combination.

Slowly turning towards Xavier his face was a bit red, "Xavier, I'd love to but-" I started but he looked so sad

"I get it." He quickly said and his eyes started to water a bit, "It's ok Gege, sorry for asking, just forget about it-" He said wiping his eyes.

"Xavier no! That's not what I meant, I would love to go out with you but...just not right now. There's too much going on. I'm sorry." I said, not wanting to see him cry.

"Is it something with Patton?" He asked quietly, not meeting my eyes.

"Yes, but not in that way you think. Just some...issues between us. Do you think you can wait a bit?" I asked nicely.

I finally got Xavier to ask me out, but at the worst time.

Softly he smiled, "I mean 2 months...still going strong." He said laughing a bit.

"Thank you Xavier." I said and Patton saw me.

"Hi Gage." Patton said sweetly.

"Hello Patton." I said finally getting my locker open.

"Hey Patton." Xavier said, smiling while rubbing his eyes away from the tears.

Patton looked Xavier up and down before smiling forcefully, "Hi Xavier." He said sweetly towards him.

We went on with class but the body in the ceiling of the locker room was calling at me, "Ms.?" I asked, holding up my hand.

"Yes?" My teacher asked, looking at me.

"May I go to the bathroom?" I asked politely.

"Go ahead." She said, turning to another student.

Quickly I got up and ran to the locker rooms, PE wasn't until next period so I had some time before anyone came in.

Slowly hoping on top of the lockers I moved the ceiling panel and immediately got hit with a horrible smell.
