Jungkook's POV:

"So where are we going and how old is this taetae exactly?"

I heard Emma say while tapping my shoulder gently, and as soon as I turned around I felt like I had traveled back in time to those days when I'd see her with Jin Hyung from afar. She wasn't wearing her usual high perked heels, not that I didn't like them, on the contrary she looked utterly breath-taking on a daily basis, today however, she wore very simple clothes, she looked so much younger and innocent and I couldn't help but feel nostalgic. After what she told me last night I swore that I would protect her at all costs, even if I had to kill her husband with my bare hands.

"Oh you're going to love that place, come we'll talk on the road." she just nodded her head and followed me.

Emma's POV:

Unsurprisingly Jungkook was a very good driver, with great taste in music. I couldn't remember the last time I actually sat on the passenger side and not at the back of a bulletproof car with bodyguards on each side. I missed this; being normal, dressing how I want, walking the streets without having men constantly following me and checking every single restaurant I wanted to dine in before actually letting me in. and I was grateful that Jungkook asked them to leave us alone, he said he could do his job alone and didn't need any hindrance. I couldn't help but smile seeing how they flinched at the word "hindrance".

I rolled down my window and admired the park we were passing by, I almost forgot that someone out there was trying to kill me and was possibly tailing us. It didn't matter at that moment because I felt safe with him. He looked even more beautiful from his side profile; I didn't even realize I was staring at him until he turned around and locked his eyes on mine.

"we're almost there." He said smiling at me before looking back at the road in front of us. And true to his words he soon pulled up in front of a café I used to visit a lot when I was still in college. I remember spending hours there working on assignments drinking tons of coffee to hold up with the stressful rhythm of University lectures.

I haven't been there since my graduation; seeing the glass doors which displayed the elegant yet simplistic interior design of the shop made me nostalgic and happy, It gave me a sense of familiarity almost as if I was going back home. This was the warmest place I've been to and the closest thing to a welcoming home as I never had one.

I was so engrossed in my past memories that I haven't even realized that Jungkook was no longer in the car but at my door opening it for me.

"Come Emma, let's go inside it's cold outside." He said giving me his hand, his pale soft slender hand that I enveloped in mine without hesitation. He made me feel alive again with only a simple gesture as this one.

I went in first and pushed the doors to be met with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee; nothing has changed, the walls were the same; the chairs, the tables and somehow even the people seemed to me as identical as I could remember. I smiled at the myriad of feelings and emotions this place was giving me, this is where I met Jin for the first time, and this is also where we'd come everyday after college and spend hours talking, studying and laughing our hearts out.

Jungkook took the lead and sat at a small table in the far corner under dim lights, as if he knew that was the exact same spot I used to spend hours in. I followed him still wondering how he managed to know so much about me when I had never told anyone about this place, not even Alex.

"How did you know?" I asked as I sat on the chair opposite of him. He just smiled at me and bent down a little, and before I could ask what he was doing I felt my chair moving fast closer to him... he dragged my chair from the bottom with one hand .. while I was sitting...
