"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" sabay-sabay naming sigaw nang mag 12 am.
"Merry Christmas, Jo." Lex greeted then gave me a peck on the lips.
"Merry Christmas, love. This is our first Christmas together! Hoping for many mooore with you." I said then higged him tight.
Bumitaw naman ako sa yakap at tiningnan siya, "Unless?" I furrowed my brows at him then teasingly smiled.
He raised his brows at me as if asking what I meant.
"Unless i-ghost mo 'ko." pabiro ko namang sabi.
"Baka ikaw pa mang-ghost sa'kin, tiger." sabi niya naman before kissing me again. Merry Merry Merry Christmas!
Our 5 days here have been a blast. We all enjoyed our stay here and now it's time to leave. Ibababa ko lang ang gamit ko sa condo at pupunta na ulit sa airport para sa flight ko papuntang New York.
I already prepared the things I'll bring to New York but because I'll be traveling alone, I only brought a few. I can borrow from my cousins or buy clothes there.
"Callista!" I saw ate Ria, my cousin, waving her hands so I ran to her and hugged her.
"I missed you ate!" I excitedly said.
"Me too! Sa'n jowa mo?" tanong niya.
"Nasa PH! Di naman pwedeng magkasama kami lagi, baka magsawa sa'kin 'yon." pagbibiro ko.
"Sus! I doubt that, that man's head over heels for you!" we both laughed at that and headed home.
"Mom! Dad!" sigaw ko at sabay silang niyakap.
"Oh? How was your flight? How was the vacation? The last thing we've heard from you is when you greeted us during Christmas!"mom said.
"Okay naman lahat, mom. No need to worry. I've missed you both!" sabi ko naman.
"We missed you too. Get changed and rest, I know it's a tiring flight." she replied so I headed to my room to rest.
We are now getting ready to go to Times Square, our parents are going to join us for the countdown. Maglalakad lang kami dahil sarado ang mga daan kaya naisipan na rin naming agahan ang punta roon para makakuha ng magandang pwesto.
"Happy New Year!" sabay-sabay naming sigaw at lalo pang lumakas ang sigawan nang pumutok angmga fireworks. Kasabay noon ay naramdaman kong may mga kamay na pumulupot sa aking bewang.
"Happy New Year, Jo." I heard Lex whispered in my left ear while hugging me from behind.
