"Make sure that the scaffoldings are sturdy and secured. Kailangan nating mas maging maingat dahil madalas na umulan, iwasan nating may masaktan dahil sa hindi pagsunod sa safety protocols." I instructed the foreman on-site. Dumadalas na kasi ang dumadating na bagyo sa bansa, isang buwan na lang din ay pasko na kaya expected na 'to.

"Opo na-check na po namin, Engr." he said while nodding.

"Aware rin dapat tayo sa panahon, kailangan alam natin kung may paparating na bagyo para makapaghanda ahead of time." Paalala ko pa dahil hindi kami pwedeng maging pabaya lalo na ngayon.

"Updated po kami lagi, Engr." I nodded at that, it's good to hear that they are properly doing their jobs and following protocols.

"That would be all, I'll go now. Please keep safe and remind them to wear their hard hats always." I concluded, it's better to be safe than sorry, hindi naman maiiwasan ang aksidente lalo na sa ganitong panahon but prevention is better than cure so wearing the hard hats are of big help.

"Salamat po, Engr." pasasalamat niya at nagpaalam na rin.

Rainy season means inspecting and visiting the sites more often. Dahil sa ulan, lumalambot ang lupa kaya maraming dapat isaalang-alang. Hindi rin maiiwasan ang mga aksidente, minsan ay sa mga truck na nagde-deliver ng materyales, dahil sa madulas na daan may ilang napapahamak.

The lead engineers at CAECS assigned in different projects are very hands-on, we want to satisfy the clients and provide them with the best results as possible, without any problems.

Nang makabalik ako sa CAECS ay ipinark ko ang kotse sa basement bago tinawagan ko si Engr. Mendez para i-update siya tungkol sa mga sites na pinuntahan ko.

"I visited the site earlier." panimula ko, I clicked the floor where my office is located.

"How are the equipments? Yung mga crane at trucks?" tanong niya.

"Functional pa naman pero delikado dahil madalas na umulan, kailangan din ng maintenance para ma-chek at hindi mangalawang." I informed him so we could do something about it.

"Sige, I'll instruct the foreman. I'll also coordinate with the architects for the other projects." sagot niya naman bago ibinaba ang tawag. I always coordinate with him for the projects para kung may problema man o di kaya'y may kailangang gawin ay masolusyonan o magawan agad ng paraan.

Hinubad ko ang coat ko nang makapasok sa opisina, medyo nabasa ang buhok ko dahil sa ulan kaya magsho-shower muna ako para hindi magkasakit, malamig pa naman sa opisina ko.

After showering, I heard someone knock and I already knew that it's Ela, pumasok naman siya at may dalang mainit na kape. I love her! She already knows what to do.

"Atty. Sevilla's secretary called earlier asking if they could set an appointment with you today to finalize the designs and the contract. Since hindi ko po sigurado kung anong oras kayo matatapos dahil site inspection ang naka-schedule after lunch, I told them that I'll get back to them as soon as I get a response from you." dire-diretso niyang sabi habang inilalagay ang kape sa lamesa ko at ang mga papeles na hawak niya sa kabilang kamay.
