~Phangler~

I heard them, I know I did. Monsters from another world, I heard. The human world, I heard them speak about. What is a human? Is their world close to ours? Clues, hints, evidence, I need it all to answer a lot of questions and prove a lot of theories.

I'm sure they heard me running away. Towards the castle, I ran to. Down into the dark room and around the corner, I went to the room with red paint. I burst the door open and shut it tightly. Claws I felt near my fin, calming me and my want to share what I heard.

"Phangler, friend, do you bring news?" Withur asked.

"Not just news, Withur. I bring you a theory!" My announcement was followed by a gasp.

"Another theory? What must we prove?"

"This theory, my friends, has partially been proven. What's been found is that Uuduk and the new monster Bona are not from this world!" Another gasp. Hawlo tapped his chest in response.

      "Where are they from?"

"They say they're from a place called 'the human world'. According to Uuduk, the 'human world' is up beyond the darkness." I looked at Fwog who was writing stuff down.

      "Wao wao?" He asked.

"Exactly. Now, Uuduk mentioned a They who threw him out and a He who saved him. Now, here is where we get to the questions."

"Like who is They and He?" Withur pitched in.

"Exactly. What is a human? Who is They, and who is He? How can we get to the human world? Is the human world dangerous? Now that's what we need to find out."

"What about Uuduk and this 'Bona'," Withur asked. "What do we do with them?"

I pulled Withur, Hawlo, and Fwog in so I could tell them this flawless plan that could come to play. Of course we would have to feel discomfort, but it was for the greater good. As soon as they got the hang of the plan, I pulled away and watched them as they spoke with each other.

"Are you certain this will work?"

"I promise, Withur. Once we're done with them, we'll head up to the human world. Fwog, watch the surface."

"Waowao, wao!" Fwog hopped out quickly as I pinned a few notes on a wall. I could hear the clicking of nails against bone and sighed, readying myself for what's to come.

It's been a few hours since the Bona incident. I've been talking with Kayna about star patterns and thinking about a few possibilities. Like me, Kayna is also into island history and mapping and such. Talking with her about these kinds of things really sparked my interests more, no pun intended.

"So, I've been thinking about this, alright? I know it's a stretch, but what if there's some sort of almighty being?"

      "Lhike uh gahwd?"

      "Yeah, a god!"

"That's uh...poh-suh-bill-uh-ty." I had a bit of trouble getting the last word out because of how I talked.

"Well, I think that there's a god for every element. Earth, water, fire," she explained as her hand glowed and dimmed. "Even electricity! That's what you are, right?"

"Uh, yeah." I felt the pegs on my head shift and turn a bit. Kayna looked at something behind me and her eyes widened.

"Woah. Are you doing that?" She asked as she pointed behind me. I turned around and saw a few rocks floating.

"Oh, whoops," I said as I turned my pegs and watched the rocks fall. Kayna got up and walked to me.

"Do you mind if I..." she started as she motioned to my pegs.

"Oh, uh, noht at all." I sat still as she turned the pegs around from C minor to E major to F minor. Looking around, I watched as rocks flew and fell.

"You're an electromagnet with a rather large magnetic radius. How interesting."

"Well, it's all duhpending on the key."

"Oh? What key is this then?" She turned the pegs so rocks close to us rose.

      "B flaht majuh."

"And this?" She turned the pegs again so rocks farther away rose.

"F minuh and C majuh." I watched Kayna pull away and sit back down.

"Wow, I never thought I'd come across some monster like you. You're pretty fun to hang out with!"

"I, uh, thank you," I said while my cheeks turned pink. She gave me such a kind smile, and I couldn't help but to smile back.
