Alliston

Drop at my house to pick up all the documents I've signed then bring it in the office.

It's been an hour mula ng mareceive ko yung text na iyon pero heto at nakahiga pa din ako.

I don't want to get up. I am so tired and exhausted. Yung feeling na sobrang drained na ako and nothing appears so appealing to me right now.

I just want to sleep. Sleep all day until I can forget everything.

Kaninang umaga, I've talked with my father. He didn't even bother asking if how I am coping up with the current issues right now. Instead, he just told me how disappointing I am. Kasalanan ko daw lahat dahil pumapatol ako sa may asawa. Worst, binantaan na din ako na wag na wag uuwi doon until I've learnt my lesson.

I know it's my fault. I am not even complaining. I am not even trying to justify what I did. I am wrong. Fine! Happy?

Bakit ba kasi hindi na lang mamatay yang issue na yan para matapos na? Why people are so obsessed in talking about some other people's lives as if naapektuhan naman sila ng mga pinagagagawa ko? They don't even know me personally.

And seriously Mom? Get married? Settle down? Have kids? No way!

You once told me to never have kids because that was the biggest mistake you've ever made. So No. You're right. I won't have kids so they won't feel how harsh it is to live with this fuckin' world of stereotyping pricks.

Okay lang naman siguro matulog ako maghapon. Wala naman si Hariette dahil nasa isla ito nila Grant pa. No one will be worrying about me. It's okay if I stop pretending I am okay even if I am not. Kahit ngayon lang.

Saka di nga din ako naalalang tawagan man lang ni Louella para tanungin kung papasok ba ako o hindi. Bahala sya dyan umasa. Tawagan nya na lang ako kun kailangan nya ako.

Pipikit na sana ako ulit para bumalik sa pagtulog nang tumunog yung phone ko.

That's Aria..

I know because I personally assigned a specific ringtone for each of my friends so I can easily recognize their calls wherever I am. Kahit anong oras pa. Simply because they aren't ringing my phone if they weren't into trouble.

Wala naman kasing tumatawag sakin para mangumusta lang. I am used to attending their concerns and making sure that they are okay.

I lazily picked up my phone from the bedside table.

"H-Hello?" I suppress the sounds of my yawn.

"Alli?" Kumpirma pa ni Aria sa kabilang linya. I glance at my clock. Maaga pa. Eleven thirty pa lang. "Hindi ka din ba pumasok today?"

Hindi ka din ba pumasok today? Din? Sinong hindi pumasok bukod sakin?

"It's my lazy day, Aria. Bakit?"

I can feel Aria's hesitation nang marinig na lazy day ko ngayon. Usually kasi sinasabi ko lang iyon pag may lakad kami ni Kyeroh o kaya naman ay may training ako for any incoming tournament. Ibig sabihin ayaw ko magpaistorbo.

"Spill it." I encourage her. I am worried too. Mamaya importante pala yung dahilan ng pagtawag nya. "Do you need anything from me?"

After few seconds ay nagsalita din ito. "Is it okay if you check Ate Louella, Alli? May check up lang kasi si Corinne today. Baka matagalan lang kami ng konti. After ng check up, diretso na lang kami sa bahay."

"Bakit?" Napaupo naman ako sa kama. "Anong meron? Wala ba sa office si Poop-I mean si Louella?"

Shit! I should have said Ate Louella right?
