I wake up early. Easily falling back into the swing of the castle. I shower and change into my uniform leaving my robe on my bed and rolling the sleeves of my jumper and shirt  up.

I arrange my wavey hair into a high pony tail, pulling strands out to fame my face and wiggling it on my head to create a messy look. Doing a natural makeup look with a clear gloss lip.

The girls wake up throughout my getting ready process chatting as they go about their own and by 8 we are all ready. I sling my bag over my shoulder and follow the girls into the corridor and in the direction of the great hall.

"So I have news," Katie announces making us all stop our conversation about what classes we are hoping to have today

"Go on," Alice spurs

"Me and Adam are over," she states simply

"Shit. Katie are you okay?" I ask pulling her into a big hug that she gladly returns

"I'm okay. It happened last week. He's going into seventh year and wants to focus on school and enjoying his last year here with his friends. And I get that," she smiles

"OH MY GOD YOU LIKE SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY?" Alice exclaims

"He doesn't even know I exist," she shrugs before turning to me "he's a friend of Cedric's though," she informs me

"Oh my god Ben?" I question making her blush

"Oh he is fit," Angelina comments

"I'll be sure to mention you next time I see him," I grin to my friend

"You're the best," she squeals pulling me in for another hug

"So." Angelina starts changing the subject as we approach the doors to the hall "How are we all feeling about the tri-wizard tourn-" she's cut off by a familiar voice

"BLACK!"

I turn to see Cedric jogging lightly down the corridor. He approaches with a wide grin on his face

"Morning Ceddy, did you-" I'm cut off by his lips pressing firmly against mine.

He's slow at first. Tentative. The second I process what's happening I kiss back feeling him grin into it. Once I start reciprocating he kisses harder. One hand coming up to cup my face and the other on the small of my back pulling me close to him and holding my in place. I let my hands wander up his chest resting my fore arms on his shoulders, one hand running through his hair and god I've wanted to run my fingers through his hair and as let's out as soft groan when I tug slightly I realise how much I've wanted this.

With him holding me like this it's easy to ignore the students who brush against us on the way through the door.

He pulls away resting his fore head against mine beaming as we both struggle to catch our breath.

"What was that for?" I question unable to stop the giggle from escaping my lips

"I just- well I missed you. I wanted to plan this great big moment for tonight but then when I saw you. You looked so beautiful and I just couldn't help myself," he admits his thumb  that still rests on my face stroking my cheek.

"Well you look beautiful too," I smile making him chuckle and press a quick kiss to my lips

"I'll see you later yeah?" He questions, I nod before he gives me one last peck and heads towards the Hufflepuff table.

I drop into my seat with my friends the twins wolf whistling, the girls hitting me with 100s of questions, Lee sitting in a bitter silence with a fake smile plastered to his face. I shove George lightly and flip Harry, who is making gagging noises from down the table, off. Sneaking a look at Cedric I see his friends talking excitedly, clearly also questioning him, but he's staring at me. I smile to which he beams back before I turn to back to my friends. Unable to
get the grin off my face all day.
