So this was a request from @aslightlychaoticmess I don't know how good this will be because I was kind of stuck but thank you for requesting it and I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Question: Should I move my second parts of one shots to right after the first one or leave it in the order it is posted? I just don't know if having to hop back and fourth annoys people. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Thomas is sad.

No, not sad.

Crushed.

Thomas is being crushed by the weight of a devastation. A devastation that he knows nothing about, because it's not his.

It's his traits'.

How can the hollowness feel so heavy? Roman felt like his heart was empty. Like there was a hole. The beat of the organ had been ripped away by five claws. Claws of words that were not considered before being uttered. Words that were not meant to become daggers. And now Roman had a heart that was bleeding out.

He wished that his mind felt just as empty. Instead it felt too big for his body, filled with meticulous criticism of himself and inaccurate replays of past moments. The howl of insults echoed around his skull threatening to pull him into the depths of a despair that he wasn't sure he would ever be able to get out of.

Roman didn't leave his room. Everyone could hear him walking about quickly, he needed to move. The once pearl walls were now inky black with writing that leaped out and pulled the Prince into dark corners.

"I'm no Prince." The man said while he crossed out the golden clusters of crown doodles in random corners. "I'm.... I'm just nothing..."
nothing
nothing
nothing
Roman spiralled down
down
down
down

Knock, knock, knock...knock, knock

A gut wrenching pattern of knocks. The rope to pull Roman out of the rabbit hole. But only one person threw a rope with those sounds.

"Roman?" How long had it been since he had heard that voice? Was it always so quiet and scared "Roman, please..."
There was a slight thud as Logan placed his head on the once glowing door that now was dull like unpolished jewellery.
"I-I-I. I don't know what to say. Look at me, the one who can never shut their mouth, has no idea how to speak." Logan sounded almost hysterical.

"I can't make this better, especially not by saying sorry. You deserve better than that. Better than anything I can give you."

Logan was sniffling and Roman could feel his eyes become wet. Both had buried the idea of missing each other with their hate for themselves. Now the longing for the other tackled them like a hungry wolf does its prey.

"I was stupid. A stupid, selfish idiot. You knew just how to help me, you always did, probably still do. But I was too concerned with myself to pay attention. You were the one person I knew I could rely on. I didn't let you rely on me, I wasn't there. I was like a child. I didn't notice, I pushed you away."

Both boys were sobbing now.

"And I should've noticed that you were hurt. But I pushed away the one person who makes me feel something. I love you Roman, so much. More than anything. I wish I had been better. I don't deserve a second chance, I just-"

The door swung open and Logan stumbled in. He looked up to see his previous partner who launched into a hug. Both boys crumpled to the ground embracing each other. They clung to each other, relishing the contact, as tidal waves flowed down their faces. Snot mixed with choked up apologise as the personas got everything out of their systems.

Logan and Roman didn't know how long they had been sitting there but as they finally looked into each other's watery eyes, all they could see was longing and love. The two men leaned in and their pain slowly dissipated.

They would never forget those ugly days of before, but it helped them make their future beautiful again.

I'm not too sure about this, I had to re-write it so it's probably kind of terrible and too short. Sorry for the wait but I hope you enjoyed this. Thank you for reading and take care of yourselves.
