"Put this on," my boyfriend instructed, taking off his jersey for me to wear. He carefully guided my hands through the sleeves and ensured my hair was free from the fabric. As the jersey slid over my shoulders, I couldn't help but smile.

"This color suits you a lot better," he remarked, a confident smirk playing on his lips. His ego was riding high today, and although I was tempted to deliver a sassy comeback, I refrained. After all, it was his big day, and I wanted him to savor every moment of it.

"Tough talk, quarterback. I have no doubt you'll lead your team to victory later today," I said with a supportive smile, my eyes filled with admiration for the determination in his gaze.

"And what kind of prize will I get if we do win?" he inquired, pulling me close against the front of his car. The sunlight danced in his eyes, and for a moment, everything felt perfect.

"I might just take you out for ice cream, you never know," I replied with a sweet tone, a playful glint in my eyes. His seductive response followed, his lips locking with mine, creating a moment of pure connection.

"Um, we're right here, and you guys are in the parking lot, you know that, right?" Marco interjected unexpectedly, breaking our embrace.

"And what does that have to do with me and my woman?" Kristen pulled me even closer to his chest, continuing to pepper my lips with kisses, as if he wanted the world to know that I was his.

But, alas, our romantic moment was interrupted yet again, this time by a whiny and annoying voice. I rolled my eyes at her ridiculous outfit and her attempt to flirt with my boyfriend. Her stupidity seemed boundless, and on the day of the final game, she wanted to bask in the spotlight by getting close to Kristen.

"Hey, Kristy, it's the big game today, and I just wanted to wish you luck! We all know you'll win, you're the captain after all," she smiled sweetly at him and then turned to look at me, frowning as she noticed me in his jersey, safely tucked in his arms.

"Yeah, thanks. Just to clarify, I'm not the only one on the team, and without my teammates, I wouldn't be able to win this game. So, make sure to congratulate them too. Now, if you'll excuse us, we have a coaching session with our coach that I and my teammates need to attend," Kristen responded with grace, his humility shining through.

"You have football practice right now?" I asked, a bit disappointed as we had a class together.

"Don't worry; I'll make sure to catch up with you today. Going a whole day without you and your craziness would probably drive me insane," he assured me with a warm smile, and my heart skipped a beat.

I couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same emptiness when I wasn't around, and his considerate behavior only reinforced that thought.

"Are you saying that you're addicted to my craziness?" I teased, laughing as he lifted me and spun me around, the world swirling around us in a dizzying dance of love and laughter.

"In more ways than one, I'm crazily in love with it!" he confessed, his affectionate words melting my heart, leaving me feeling cherished and adored.

As he walked me to the classroom door, our lips met in a parting kiss, a promise of the love and connection we shared. I entered the classroom, greeted by curious gazes, including Steff's.

"Hey there," I greeted him, taking a seat beside him, grateful for the support of a friend who had been there through thick and thin.

"I see you're wearing the wrong jersey," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

"And I see you haven't lost your sense of humor," I retorted with a smile, appreciating the lightheartedness in his presence.

"By the way, have you heard anything from Sebastian?" I asked, my voice tinged with concern, a shadow of worry crossing my face.
