"Guys? There's somebody I'd like you to meet." Ross says walking into the apartment.

A monkey jumps on to his shoulder. "Oooh!" I squeal walking over to pet the monkey.

"W-wait. What is that?" Monica asks taking a step away from him.

"That would be Marcel. You wanna say hi?" He asks her.

"No, no, I don't."

"He is so cute." I giggle petting the little monkey.

"Not as cute someone else I know." I hear Joey mutter under his breath from behind me.

"What?" I ask turning around to look at him.

Joeys eyes widen. "Nothing." He says quickly.

I shrug turning back to the monkey and continue petting him. "Oh, he is precious! Where did you get him?" Rachel asks Ross.

"My friend Bethel rescued him from some lab." Ross explains to us.

"That is so cruel!" Phoebe exclaims. "Why? Why would a parent name their child Bethel?" She asks disgusted before walking away.

"Hey, that monkey's got a Ross on its ass!" Chandler quips walking out of the bathroom.

"Ross, is he gonna live with you, like, in your apartment?" Monica asks pulling me away from them and using me as a human shield.

"Yeah. I mean, it's been kinda quiet since Carol left, so..." He trails off shrugging.

"Why don't you just get a roommate?" Monica asks him logically.

"Nah, I dunno... I think you reach a certain age, having a roommate is kinda pathe-" He stops talking when he notices the looks he is getting as over 2/3rds of us are roommates. "....sorry, that's, that's 'pathet', which is Sanskrit for 'really cool way to live'." He tells us trying to cover it up.

A little later we all go down to central perk waiting for Phoebe to perform.

"So you guys, I'm doing all new material tonight. I have twelve new songs about my mother's suicide, and one about a snowman." Phoebe tells us tuning her guitar.

"Might wanna open with the snowman." Chandler suggests.

Joey enters the coffee house brushing snow off of his coat. He sits down next to me placing an arm around my shoulders. "Hey, Joey." We all greet.

"So, how'd it go?" Monica asks as he pulls me closer to him making me tense up before melting into it.

"Ahhhhhh, I didn't get the job." He shakes his head disappointed.

"Oh, that sucks." I give him a small smile while brushing some snow out of his hair.

"How could you not get it?" Ross asks. "You were Santa last year."
