✳Chapter 6

Juhi and Anjali woke up quite late. They just spent the whole day at home. They watched television, ate, cooked and slept. It was just a lazy day for them.

Juhi: For the next two months I know I will eat good food.
Anjali: Uhh shut up, you are also a good cook.
Juhi: I have become lazy over the years.
Anjali: You never put enough time to cooking that is why it is not special.
Juhi: Hmm, you are right. 
She hugged Anjali tight.

Juhi: Do not go back to Mumbai.
Anjali: I am going to Mumbai to look for a suitor for you.
Juhi: Ehh, I am happily single for now but I will date I guess.
Anjali: You have no choice. I will look for a good responsible match for you.
Juhi: You sound like Dr Shashank.
Anjali: It is weird when you say, Dr Shashank. Just say Shashank.
Juhi: It is weird to say his name alone.

Anjali: Do you miss him?
Juhi: Miss who?
Anjali: Arey, your Dr Shashank who else.
Juhi: He is a very intelligent man. It would have been nice working with him.
Anjali: Answer the simple question- Do you miss him?
Juhi nodded.
Anjali: I do not know how you passed English in school.

Juhi was running after her in the house. She wanted to spank Anjali for her statement.

Juhi: I am tired of running.
She went to drink a glass of water. Anjali went to pick her phone cause it was ringing.

Caller Id: Daddy

Anjali: Hello
Daddy: Good afternoon beta.
Anjali: How are you doing?
Daddy: I am quite fine.
Anjali: I am also doing fine. Have you been sleeping on time?
Daddy: Trust me.
Anjali: Juhi is the female version of you in the aspect.
Daddy: Where is Juhi?

Anjali: Call her on your phone. I do not want to be part of your romance.
She said that casually.
Daddy: Romance?
Anjali; Haan, master and teacher romance. You are too cute.
Daddy: Have you spoken to Vardhan?
Anjali: Hmm, I will call him now.
She hanged up on her dad.

Juhi was laying down and reading a book when Shashank called her.
Juhi: Did you not get through to Anjali?
Shashank: I just finished talking to her. She just hanged up to call Vardhan.
Juhi: Ohh.

Shashank: What's good?
Juhi: Everything is good. I have lesser hours in the hospital.
Shashank: How is Rahul? Do you hear from him?
Juhi: You know I am divorced right?
Shashank: Such a stupid question for me to ask.
Juhi: Hmm true.

So I have confirmed it. Juhi is single but it does not still mean anything. Why would she look at an old man like me?

Juhi: Dr Shashank!! Where did your mind run off too?
Shashank: Oh I am sorry.
Juhi: I was saying that you have a good Instagram game.
Shashank: Ohh thanks, It was one of the Doctor's here that told me to join. Do you like it?
Juhi: You are looking very handsome and fresh.
Shashank: Ohh thank you.
Juhi: No problem. I want to go back to my book now.
Shashank: Okay.

Mumbai.
After the talk with Juhi, Shashank had surgery performed.

Shashank: Is everyone ready?
Dr Ishani: Yes we are.
Shashank took the tool that he would use to open the patient's brain and his hands were shaking.

Dr Shashank: Ishani, you open it up.
Dr Ishani: Really?
She was happy.
Dr Shashank: It is a learning process for you.
During the surgery, Shashank vision started to blur.

Nurse Philo: Are you alright?
Shashank was about to respond but he faints.
The people in the theatre room were shocked.
Nurse Philo: Page Dr Siddhant and Raghav.

Dr Raghav went with Nurse Philo to examine Shashank. Siddhant stayed with Ishani to finish the surgery. Nurse Philo made sure nobody knew what was happening.

Dr Raghav: Dr Asha prepare a CT scan and MRI.
Dr Asha: What are you looking for?
Dr Raghav: Anything that will make me understand why he fainted.

Anjali was talking to Vardhan. Juhi came to the living room.
Juhi: Anjali, I am worried.
Anjali: Why?
Juhi: Can we pray, please?
Anjali cut her call with Vardhan. The women stood at the small temple in Juhi's house. They did not know what to pray about. They just prayed for safety and the protection of all their family members.

The tests on Dr Shashank had been performed. They all had to wait for the results. They looked for a way to expedite the result. They would be receiving it in a few hours.

Dr Raghav: We have to all just pray.
Dr Siddhant: Nothing will happen to Dr Shashank.
Dr Ishani: Do we tell Anjali?
Nurse Philo: No, I know Shashank would not want us too.
Dr Siddhant went to Dr Shashank hospital room. He sat beside him. He held his hands and prayed for him.

You have to wake up. Who will I taunt or stress? You just have to wake up. For all of us at Sanjivani.

Shashank opened his eyes slowly.
Shashank: What happened?
Siddhant: You fainted in surgery.
Shashank: Have you conducted tests?
Siddhant: Raghav did it and we are awaiting the results.
Shashank: How was the surgery?
Siddhant: I completed it and it was successful.
Shashank: Do not tell my daughter about this?
Siddhant: Okay sir.

Raghav came with both results in his hands. Nurse Philo and Ishani came along with him.
Shashank: Give me the result!
Raghav: I am your doctor so I have to do this.
Shashank: I am your boss remember.
He chuckled.

Raghav gave him the result with shaky hands. Shashank saw the picture of his brain.
Shashank: Wow! It is so beautiful.
He got up from the bed and lifted it to the light source.

Shashank: Siddhant come and look at my brain tumour.
Everyone except for Raghav was shocked. They had tears coming out of their eyes.
Raghav: We have to plan a surgery as soon as possible.
Shashank: There is only one person that I would allow to take out my tumour.

Siddhant: We have to call Doctor Juhi.
Shashank: On the last day of my daughters trip I will inform them.
Siddhant: What do we do for now?
Shashank: My tumour is an assignment for all of you. I want you to think of a way to remove it.

Anjali and Juhi were still in front of the temple. Juhi was crying but she did not know why.

Juhi: We have to go to Mumbai!
Anjali: Why?
Juhi: I am having a bad feeling. I need to go to Sanjivani.
