"What's the look for?"

Charlie was looking at his friend, the two of them lounging on the couch in her apartment. The girl locked her phone before dropping it beside her.

"Owen says he wants to make up for being an ass to me the other day." Elliot made eye contact with Charlie, "He also gave me some instructions and told me to be ready in 3 hours."

The moment the girl looked away, Charlie smirked. Owen was getting bold.

"Maybe he's planning one of his special movie nights for you?" he suggested.

Elliot shrugged, "Who knows? You wanna grab dinner now, though?"

Charlie nodded, the two standing up from the couch and leaving the apartment. Most days, Charlie and Elliot spent their free time together and a lot of the time it included getting food, it was how they bonded.

They'd also normally talk about movies, tv shows, and conspiracy theories... but today was different. Ever since Owen texted her, Elliot couldn't get him out of her mind.

What all did he have planned for tonight? And why was Elliot so nervous?
