Do I believe that these two made a nice couple at first? Definitely.
Do I believe that if these two had the chance, would I want them to rekindle their romantic bond? Hell no.
I'm sorry, Darkstalker had his chance. He was warned time and time again by Clearsight, and he straight up manipulates her, with animus magic no less.
He had the chance to be with Clearsight, he had the chance to have dragonets with her. But, he was selfish, and refused to listen to her reasoning, even though they were completely valid.
So, by any speck of luck, if Clearsight were to return to confront Darkstalker in DoD, their relationship wouldn't work, unless Darkstalker changed his ways.
And sadly, Darkstalker is unable to change. Exactly why Peacemakerhappened...
Pros: It was sweet while it lasted. They genuinely did love each other, which made the ending to Darkstalker Legends more heartbreaking.
Cons: I don't care, I'm glad Clearsight ended up with Sunstreak. She deserves a gentleman, not a psycho king.
