I closed the Twitter tab on my phone and liked some posts on Instagram. The I decided that maybe 10 minutes was too long to pretend to be in a bathroom so I slipped out into my room.

Peter was sitting next to a half finished bedside table and was just finishing what sounded like a very one-sided phone conversation

"Negative vibes are bad for your skin. So byeee" he said before handing up.

I didn't make a noise but Peter turned around as If he knew I was there. "Hey Harley can you help me with this"

"Uhhh no?"

"Why not? I mean it's your bedside table"

"I have to go"

"Where? You live here"

"Oh yeah,,, turns out I can help"

I sat down slightly to far away from Peter and picked up a screw driver. Wait does it look like I'm avoiding him? But if I move closer it would look like I'm making a move. Do I even want to make a move? Peter's acting like nothing happened. Does that mean he doesn't want anything to happen.

But he was going to kiss you too so he must have wanted it. My barely coherent thoughts were interrupted by a notification coming from my phone.

I picked it and smiled when I saw a snap from my sister. Peter noticed "what is it?" He asked

"My sister"

I opened the message and saw Abbie Keener pulling a stupid face at the camera. The caption read

"HOWS LIFE GOING HARLEY"

I held my phone up so both me and Peter we're in the shot, then I replied.

"ALRIGHT, WE'RE MAKING A BEDSIDE TABLE FOR MY ROOM.

ALSO I NEED TO TALK TO YOU LATER SO DONT DO ANYTHING TONIGHT"
