"Gaga pag ibang lalaki yo'n sunggab agad. Ang cute-cute niya. What was that? A kiss? A kiss! A kiss!" paulit-ulit kong sabi sakanila habang tumatawa. "Argh! He doesn't know how much I've been yearning to feel his lips again. I was pissed off, really. But you know there's a foreign feeling build up into my system when he kissed my cheeks. A sense of euphoria, I guess? I don't know. I can't explain."

"Euphoria? Happy hormones mo? Nainitan ka kaagad ganoon?" Shiya teased.

He wagged his head and plastered a smirk on his face. "Lol, I invariably grant that to you whenever you're with me in bed so what's new? Anong bago? Excessive pa nga binibigay ko sayong exhilaration e."

"Wow, Hunter the temerity!" Tumawa ako saka marahang pinisil ang kanyang braso. "You keep on blabbering bitterness during my whole discussion. Bad mood ka ba?"

"Bad mood talaga. The idea of someone can surpass the effect you have for Hunter is a bitter pill for him to swallow."

"Nagsisimula ka na naman Shiya."

"Akala ko ba ayaw mong harutin?" Hunter said seriously.

"Akala ko rin e," I retorted and laughed.

Hunter scooted over me and vaulted my midriff with his embrace — leaning his chin on my shoulder.

Shiya cleared her throat, loudly. "Okay. I guess this is the cue that I need to get myself out of here." She stood up from straddling on the couch. "I'll go na," she bid a farewell vibrantly and departed.

"Vyxen," Hunter whispered, nuzzling the tip of his nose against my cheek.

"What?"

"Vyxen," he uttered my name again so I asked him the same question, "What?"

"Vyxen."

My eyes narrowed. "Ano nga? Parang timang Hunter."

"Wala." He discharged me from his clasp.

"Hey! I thought we're already good? Then bakit nagsisimula na namang humaba yang nguso mo sa kakabusangot?" Iginawad ko ang aking ulo mula sa kanan saka itinuro ang kanyang nguso gamit ang aking hintuturo.

"Wala."

I shoot daggers of glares at him. "If there's someone should sulk right now, apparently ako yo'n." I crossed my arms on my chest. "You ignored me for days Hunter without a definite reason." Basta ang alam ko lang 'di niya ako pinansin pagkatapos kong i-share sa kanya na hinalikan ko si Engr. Salcevo. Impossible namang nagselos siya ro'n. Typical naman na sa akin na magkwento ng mga ganoong bagay sa kanya.

"Nagtatampo ka pala?"

I rolled my eyes. "Ang sabi ko kung meron man dapat. I didn't said that I sulk."

"Pero nagtampo ka no'ng hindi ako nagparamdam?" Fck! Pinagsasabi ng isang 'to? Parang buang.

I swished my head sideways and let out a chuckle. "Hindi, kailan ko ba ginawa yo'n?"

His lips curved downward as he flitted his gaze at me.

And ano yo'n? Kinusulipan niya rin ba ako?

"Yah, kailan ba? Remember? When I didn't contact you for straight five days, because the goddamn place where we had a business trip doesn't have any signal and supposedly two weeks kami mag-stay do'n. But I choose to rush home because I was too apprehensive that you're already damn worried about me pero anong nadatnan ko? You were kissing another man, what a nice welcome? Just nice. Kailan ka nga ba nagtampo? Tapos sa tuwing tinatanong kita kung bakit hindi mo ginagawa yo'n, you'll always reason out that you understand. Are you really that understanding or you just really don't care about me? Then do you remembe—" He was about to pull out another throwback, but he cut off his words when he caught my skeptical stares.

"What was that? Digging out the past scenarios? Grabe ang layo ng narating mo. How come you reach that point? E, 'di naman yan yo'ng topic. Damn weird. Ang weird mo."

He ruffled his hair — putting the strands of it in mess. "Charot...charot lang yung sinabi ko," saad niya at humagalpak sa tawa. "Just forget about it."

I creased my brows. "Weird as fck Hunter. Grabe, you need to consult a psychiatrist, mukhang nababaliw ka na."

"But what if you're the one who's making me nuts? Do I need to consult myself to you?" He looked straight into my eyes bago siya nagpakawala ng mga halakhak. Fck, ang lakas ng topak.

"Tigilan mo nga ako sa mga banat mo. Nakakakilabot e."

He sighed. "Pero Vyxen why did you kiss that Salcevo? Bakit mo hinalikan yo'ng lalaking yo'n?" I couldn't get him. Kung ano-ano na lang sinasabi ng isang 'to. Paiba-iba e! Ang uncertain ng bini-bring up na topic, shift nang shift.

"I already kissed tons of men. I've even done further than that so, what are you fussing about?" I lifted my shoulders — implying it wasn't a big deal.

"Patay na patay ka ro'n e since college."

Nanliit ang mga mata ko sa kanyang sinabi. "Your usage of words was a bit exaggerated. Patay na patay talaga?"

"Bakit hindi ba? Gusto mo i-demo ko pa kung paano ka kinikilig sa kanya, mas exaggerated yo'n."

I bolted upright and settled my feet in front of his points — jerking his arms to get his ass off from my divan. "Umuwi ka na nga," saad ko rito pero hindi niya ito pinansin.

He held my wrist to stop me from hauling him. "What if you'll fall for him? Paano na ako?" he mumbled as his eyes were suddenly tainted with blue.

What was that? Is he throwing some pranks? Or what?

"E?" wala sa sariling usal ko. A sudden perturbation ignited inside me, but it has immediately vanished when he gave me a jested response.

"Eh? Ehkdog?"

"So should I start laughing now?" I said with sarcasm.

"Charot lang yo'n. Pake ko diba? Pakasal pa kayo tapos pasakal ako sa mga leeg niyo para sa best wishes." He situated his hands on the midair and dragged his fingers inwardly, pretending he was throttling someone's neck.

"Kung ikaw kaya sakalin ko?" I planted my hand on my hips. "Puro ka kalokohan, umuwi ka na nga."

"Ayoko, I'll spend my night here with you."
I was about to refuse, but he abruptly shot additional words. "Oh bakit? Madalas ka sa unit ko, welcome naman siguro ako rito sayo diba?" He wiggled his brows and I let him stay.
