I arched my brow when I caught him staring with hilarity at the loads I was pulling out from my bag. "Tinatawa-tawa mo diyan?" I asked even though it's damn obvious what's the reason why.

"Dami mong dinala, you really prepped for this huh?" Natatawang saad niya sa akin. Sabi ko na nga eh, he finds funny about of my exertions bringing a bunches of stuffs for this fcking hiking. May dala-dala kasi akong portable gas stove butane atsaka napakaraming food comparment na may laman na iba't-ibang marinated flesh at iba pang putahe na madali lang lutuin. Eh wala naman talaga sa plano na mag-oovernight kami rito sa mountain, actually dapat balikan lang talaga kami. Well, I already expected to hear that "balikan concept trek" from Engr. Salcevo, there's no way he could think of spending his night with a naughty woman like me. But because of my consistency and persistency of bugging him this morning, I succeed getting his affirmative.

"Well, of course I really prepare for this. Thanks for your conscience at dahil dyan napa-oo kitang mag-overnight."

"I didn't really anticipate you'll going to pack up stuffs like that. But then I didn't clarify things with you, so I couldn't blame you if you jump into a wrong conclusion. You seems very excited, and I don't want to ruin your mood, kaya umuo na lang ako." He explained. Wow! Pagkatapos ng napakahabang araw, ngayon lang ulit nagsalita 'to ng medyo lenghty. "Atsaka isa pa napakakulit mo."

"Talagang kinulit kita para mapilit ang gusto ko. I already visualize a lot of possible scenarios that will going to transpire for spending my night with you, then mauuwi lang talaga as imagination? Hell no! I wouldn't let that happen Yvio." I snapped as I crossed my arms on my chest.

Pagkatapos nun, hindi na ako nakatanggap ng tugon mula sa kanya. Err minsan talaga ang sarap niyang tuktokan, bigla-bigla na lang tatahimik para tapusin yung dialogue na hindi pa naman dapat mag-end. Nanahimik na lang rin ako. I set up the mini stove I brought, niluto na namin yung mga dala kong pwedeng lutuin at sinigurado kong roasting and frying lang ang kinakailangang process ng mga ito para 'di hassle.

Namayani ang katahimikan sa aming dalawa hanggang sa matapos kaming magluto at kumain. And even though nung nakaligpit na't kami lahat-lahat wala pa ring nagsasalita.

Nakaupo lang kami sa blanket na inilatag namin kanina na mayroong tamang distansya mula sa bonfire then ayun we couldn't sight the beautiful scenery around kasi gabi pero buti na lang may stars kaya enjoy pa rin kaming nakatingala habang nakatitig sa kalangitan.

Well, I don't hate the silence. Honestly I want it, napakarelaxing nga eh pero kasi may bigla lang akong gustong itanong.

"Why did you bring me here?" I blurted out, still perking up my head at the sky.

"When we had our dinner at Guilford Hotel, I glimpse a flicker of delight in your eyes while staring the scenery from the underside. After that I asume that you love lofty places with a nice view so I brought you here." Oh? Ganun? "And also I'm just giving back the favor to you for inviting me to a dinner last time." Pahabol pa nito at agad naman akong napatawa dahil dito.

"May pagiving-giving back the favor ka pang nalalaman." I staved off my stares at the sky and shifted it to him. "You don't need to tell me an alibi, just simply admit that you want to be with me Engr. Salcevo."

"I'm not."

"Lol, don't be shy, okay lang naman sa akin kung magiging honest ka."I teased as I jabbed his side using my finger. "Oh nga pala, remember? Sa Guilford Hotel mo ako sinabihan na ang ganda ko araw-araw?" Panghahalungkat ko atsaka siya mapaglarong tinapik-tapik sa kanyang balikat.

"Oh tapos?" He nonchalantly asked.

"Oh tapos you said I look beautiful everyday...but do you know when I appear beautiful the most, Engr. Salcevo?" I looked straight into his eyes as I wet my lips. "It's when I wear nothing." I seductively said and my fingertips traced the hem of my upper cloth. "Wanna see it?"

He avoid his stares at me as he rose up and swerved his body to the side, prepping up to vacate from the vicinity where I am. "It's getting late I'll go inside my tent, ikaw din pumasok ka na." He told, dodging the sensual topic I was trying to lift up.

I held his wrist. "Yvio, paisa na."

"Stop, ayoko yung mga ganyan mong biro." He contended with his humorless expression.

I discarded my grasp around his wrist.
"Okay fine."

He led the way to his tent while I kept up myself on the spot where he left me.

I bit my inside cheeks. "I guess, this isn't the perfect time for getting the warmth I want from him."

My arms braced my limbs as I plopped my chin above my knees. I momentarily closed my eyes and as I unlocked my vision, the bonfire was the first thing I saw and that gave rise for me to recall the scenarios we had while searching the logs we use for assembling this.

"Ang kulit mo pala." I said, catching my breath.

"Napakakulit mo rin kasi." He hurled back, glaring at me. Naggugulatan kasi kami, at first ako lang naman talaga ang nanggugulat and then nung hindi na yata siya makapagpigil na bawian ako ginugulat niya na rin ako kaya ang ending alternate naming ginugulat ang isa't-isa. And then ang nakakatawa pa pareho kaming magugulatin so ang resulta pareho kaming nagmumukhang mga buang.

"Lol, so irritated ka na niyan Engr. Salcevo? Nalugi ka ba kakatalon? Cute mo kaya mukha kang kangaroo."

"Cute mo rin, you sound like a boar in the slaughterhouse whenever you scream."

"Oh really? Kaysa naman sayo tatalon-talon kapag nagugulat. Kangaroo ka?" Pang-aasar ko rito. "And by the way I agree from what you said para nga naman akong boar na kinakatay kung makasigaw, but take note kapag ginugulat lang ako ganun. Try to thrust inside me Yvio, and I'll make sure that my scream will give chills down to your spine and arouse the thing between your thighs." I winked.

He gulped and he gave me a response that doesn't have to do with what I said. "Humanap pa nga tayo ng kahoy."

"Hays ang pabebe niya, kung gawin ko kaya siyang bebe ko." I giggled. "Fck! What the hell I am talking about? Bwisit na bonfire yan!" I thumped my forehead and wagged my head.

Tumayo na ako mula sa aking pagkakaupo at nagtungo sa tent niya, ayoko matulog mag-isa. I want to sleep beside him. Maingat akong pumasok sa loob, at buti na lang marahan ang mga naging galaw ko dahil tulog na siya. "Cute." I mumbled as I gently tapped his cheeks.

"Tatabi ako sayo ah." I positioned myself beside him and braced my arms around his midsection, giving him a side hug. "Damn Yvio, how could I ignite you like the fire? Nakakainis ka kasi eh, napakahard to get." I nuzzled my head on his neck. "Hmmm goodnight." I whispered and closed my eyes.
