"Hey, jiè? What if you become a famous idol like TF Family?" Yelimi asked me with excitement in her eyes.
I couldn't help but smile at her question. "I'll be the happiest woman in the world," I replied, imagining myself standing on stage, surrounded by adoring fans.
Yelimi pouted and said, "I hope we'll meet them soon. They're so talented and inspiring."
I nodded in agreement. "We will, just wait for our time," I reassured her. Standing up, I grabbed my bag and asked, "Let's go?"
"Let's go," she replied, and we headed out. Today was a big day for us. My mom and I had moved to Manila so that I could apply for a job. We weren't wealthy, so I wanted to help my parents by finding work.
As we walked, I couldn't help but daydream about attending a TF Family concert in China. Ji, one of the members, was my ultimate crush. I admired him for his cuteness and incredible dance skills. He truly was as attractive as everyone said.
My crush on Ji from TF Family began when I first saw him perform on stage. I was instantly captivated by his talent, charisma, and charming personality. Ji's incredible dance moves and his ability to connect with the audience left a lasting impression on me.
As I delved deeper into the world of TF Family, I discovered more about Ji's background and his journey to becoming an idol. I admired his dedication, hard work, and the way he pursued his dreams with unwavering passion.
I couldn't help but be drawn to Ji's cute and charming demeanor. His smile, his infectious energy, and his ability to make people feel special resonated with me. Every time I watched him perform or saw his interviews from the social media, my admiration for him grew stronger.
Over time, I found myself daydreaming about meeting Ji in person and getting to know him better. I followed his social media accounts, watched his variety show appearances, and even learned the dance routines to some of his famous performances.
My crush on Ji from TF Family was a combination of his talent, charm, and the connection I felt with him through his music and performances. It was a crush that ignited my passion for music and dance, and it fueled my desire to pursue my own dreams, just like Ji.
After a few hours, we finally arrived at our new home. This house had been built for us a while ago, but we had just moved in. "This is your room, Zhubao," my mom said, pointing to the medium-sized room.
"Okay, mā," I replied with a smile, grateful for the new space.
Yelimi, always curious, shouted from the living room, "Mā, did you already enroll us in a school?"
My mom nodded and said, "Your Auntie took care of it. Tomorrow is your first day of school."
I was taken aback. "But it's already August fifth," I protested.
My mom sighed and explained, "Due to the pandemic, everything got delayed. So, your first day is tomorrow. Get ready."
Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, I started to unpack my belongings and organize my new room. I made sure to clean up the mess and arrange my clothes neatly. I also proudly displayed my TF Family posters on the wall, admiring them as I lay down on my bed.
Staring at the posters, I whispered to myself, "I'll see you soon. We'll meet each other soon." With that thought in mind, I drifted off to sleep, eagerly anticipating what the future had in store for me.
