As Chloe enters her home, she has a determination that she has not had since her mother's arrival that she never thought she would want. Before she makes an overly-impulsive decision, she decides to discuss her ideas with Jean, who was in the kitchen with his fellow staff.

Jean, who was reading an article about the akumatization increase, sets his magazine down as Chloe approaches, "Hello, Chloe. How was your little investigation with your friends?"

"It was fun... I wanted to ask for your advice." Chloe mutters, looking at Jean with a bit of hesitance.

He smiles and gestures to the seat beside him, "I will try my best to help."

She explains what she had discovered on her investigation and what she wanted to do now, but she was unsure if she should actually do it.

"You want to talk to your mom? Why?"

"Because it could help my friends and potentially all of Paris. Think about it, Jean. Even though I don't want to talk to her, this might be the only way to figure things out." Chloe says, looking at Jean's skeptical look.

"I don't like the idea, Chloe." Jean admits, "You may think it's the only way, but you and your mother are... messy."

"I know. It could work, though. So...Shouldn't I try?" Chloe asks.

"...I would be lying if I said no. I know you should and it could help Paris, but what if it goes wrong?"

"Then I'll have you here to protect me, right?" Chloe asks with a smile on her face.

Jean can't help but smile back at this comment, "Of course."

Chloe nods and heads to her room. She sets her bag down and grabs her phone, starting to record like Alya always does before interviews. She takes a breath as she leaves the room and heads down the hallway towards her mother's room. She sees her father walking in and decides to wait outside until they're done talking. She sits against the wall outside of the doorway as she hears murmurs.

"Andre, I can't stay here anymore." She hears Audrey say as there's the sound of rustling drawers.

"There's too many attacks, darling, it isn't safe." He responds with slight panic in his voice.

"Getting attacked by an akuma would be better than staying here in this stupid hotel with a dimwit, no good husband and a bratty daughter." She huffs, stuffing clothes into a suitcase.

"This isn't fair! Why can't you just try to be a part of this family??" Andre says in desperation.

"You don't have any right to tell me-"

The room immediately goes silent, causing Chloe to try to listen more intently. The silence is almost deafening, Chloe's nerves becoming increased by the second.

"What is that, Andre?" Audrey mutters.

"What is... Oh, this? I found it at a..."

"That is mine, Andre. I have been looking for it. You...STOLE it from me?!?"

"Audrey, darling, of course not. I have been holding onto it since your departure, and-"

"You are ridiculous, Andre. And you're a liar now, too?" Audrey scoffs, starting to laugh.

"No! I didn't know that it would be so important to you!" Andre yells defensively, "You left it here when you left and it was all that I had left of you, and-"

"I was right to leave! I shouldn't have come here at all!" Audrey screams, "Now give me that back!"

"No! It's mine now-" Andre says as there is a long silence. "Audrey, please..."
