Chapter 13

Kristy's POV

"Which one do you think will get Theo's head to explode?" Emms asked me as we spent the rest of the afternoon getting dolled up together.
"That one!" I pointed to the skanky dress she held up with her right hand and she threw the one she was holding in her left at my face.
"Trick question! Both would make a man's head spin! So you're wearing that one!" She said with attitude and I couldn't help but laugh at the girl time I truly missed with my best friend.
"Did you bring that awful choice in high heels with you again so he'd give you a piggyback ride back to his hotel tonight?"
"SHIIIIT!! I knew I forgot something!" She screamed so loud she actually scared the living hell out of Thaddeus.
"I know buddy, she's crazy!" I whispered not so quietly to Thad resulting in a pillow thrown in my face.
We finished getting ready and I did as I was told and wore Emily's spaghetti strap black sequins dress that barely landed just below my ass.

The second we stepped out into the family room, my eyes are met with Eros's looking me up and down with his face showing of pure shock.
"All this time I thought you loved me but now you're trying to kill me!" He says holding his hand over his heart.
"Hey! Don't say that!" I threw him a sad face but his look of shock didn't fade.
"That's really what you're wearing?" He asked again now stating his disapproval for my outfit.
"Hey, don't blame me, blame her" I said with my eyes paving the trail to where Emily stood.
"Guilty as charged! You're welcome!" She said with sass but Eros just shook his head staring at the floor.
"You both know how crowded the club was when we went there before, imagine tonight on New Year's Eve!" He tried to talk rationally to her but Emms just started air grinding in our living room laughing.
"Making heads explode in Greece! We can't help it!"
Eros grunted under his breath giving up on trying to change our minds and we finally made our way in the cab heading to Platis Gialos, where Paradise Beach is lined with nightlife and clubs.

"What's wrong babe?" I questioned noticing how dead silent he was the whole ride and feeling how tense his grip was around my hand.
"Just...don't leave my side tonight alright" he said in the most serious tone I've heard from him.
"What! Are you already getting jealous?" I asked laughing.
"Please, Kristy!" He said begging me being totally serious.
"Geez! Alright!"

We step out of the cab and Eros and I make our way to the entrance door where we find Theo waiting outside for us.
"Hi, Theo!" I said more giddy than I anticipated.
"Hi, guys! I don't know why you wanted me to join you tonight. I'm not going to be any fun alone" he said looking somewhat depressed before familiar hands snuck up from behind him and covered his eyes.
"Who said you have to be alone?" She whispered seductively in his ear.
"As tempting as that sounds I'll have to pass. I already have someone" He says in response.
"Who's the lucky girl?" She says as she uncovers his eyes and makes her way in front of him.
"EMILY?!?!" He shouted in complete shock and joy. "Wh-? How? Y-you didn't tell me you were coming!"
"SURPRISE!!!"
"I kalýteri ékplixi! The best surprise!" He pulls her into his chest and wraps his arms around her before quickly pulling back to glance at her face again.
"God, I missed you!" He kisses her fiercely.
"Look at you! I won't be able to keep my hands off you!" He said eyeing her up and down.
"That's the plan baby!" She pulls him in again and they begin their heavy make-out session as Eros and I decide now is a very good time to head inside and meet them later.
"Stay close, I don't want to lose you"
I felt my breath catch for a moment as sparks ignited inside me hearing those same words again.
The same feeling of his warm hands embrace. The same firm grip just as strong and dominant as it was the last time when we entered into this very club. I instantly felt safe with his hovering body close to mine.

"Oh! There's Athena!" I said enthusiastically seeing her make her way through the crowd towards us.
"Athena?" He questioned but his voice came out as an agitated grumble.
"Yea, I invited her!" I said and he huffed under his breath and avoided my eyes like he was upset with me.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked grabbing his arm forcing him to look at me.
He brought his voice down quiet so Athena wouldn't hear as she approaches.
"When she left for Cypress she went to a club with some friends one night and was taken advantage of by someone there...hence Ina...!" he shortened his story just before Athena came up next to us.
