Today, you were going to detention. It didn't happen often. Any thingy risky you did, you got out of. It was rare you ever got caught.

But last week, a video of you stealing from the principals office made its way around the school.

You tried to get yourself out of it, but somehow only made matters worse. So now the consequences would be faced.

You walked into detention, and noticed only Stella and Charlie. You'd only talked to them once, but only to ask to copy their homework.

"Woah." Charlie said. "I don't see you getting into trouble often."

Stella agreed. "What'd you do?"

You sighed. "I stole the iPad from the principals office."

"Ma'am." Stella said. "The one that was supposed to be a raffle?"

You nodded.

She scoffed. "How dumb can you be?"

"Shut up Stella." You replied. "I'm not proud of it."

"Only because you got caught." She stared at you blank faced.

"Shut up and mind your business." You told her.

She walked up to you and stood directly in front of you.

"Listen here, you little shit..." She started.

"Stella!" The teacher yelled. "In your seat!"

Stella growled at you, and then made her easy back to where she was supposed to be seated.

"You mad doggy?" You laughed.

She started bouncing her leg, indicating she was anxious to punch the fuck out of you at this moment.

"So." Charlie said, trying to cut through the tension. "How long are you here for, Y/n?"

"4 hours." You sighed, trying to make yourself as comfortable as you could in your seat. "You?"

"Just 30 minutes." He shrugged. "I was only here for overdue assignments."

"Well are you done?" You asked.

He nodded. "Now I am."

He stood up, and took his papers to the teacher.

"Bye!" He exclaimed as he walked out the door and ran down the hall.

"Asshole." You heard Stella whisper under her breath.

"So what are you here for, dumbass?" You asked Stella.

She tried her best to ignore you.

And she did for the most part, until the teacher farted and made her way to the bathroom.

You started laughing uncontrollably, and practically flopped out of your seat.

You landed on your back, knocking the wind out of you.

When you caught your breath and opened your eyes, Stella was standing in front of you. Covering her mouth to prevent any laughs, and breathing heavily to prevent tears.

"Not funny." You said with a straight face.

"My bad." She said as she finally controlled herself. "Need help?"

"Nah, I got it." You replied, helping yourself up and sitting on your desk.

She sat on the desk in front of you, and examined your face.

"Ma'am?" You asked, wondering why she was staring at you.

"You're pretty." She told you.

"Damn, Stella." You said. "That was kind of random."

"I regret saying that." She said. "I don't even know where it came from."

You sensed she was a bit embarrassed, so you said something back. "You're beautiful."

She looked up at you. "Holy fuck."

You laughed "What?"

"I didn't think you found people attractive." She replied.

"Well what was I supposed to find attractive?" You asked.

"I don't know." She shrugged. "Animals? Anime/Manga characters?"

You sat with an offended smile. "Wow, Stella😀. Thanks."

She laughed. "No problem."

You examined her face this time around. "You like me."

"Excuse me?" She raised an eyebrow. "I what?"

"Yeah, I can see right through you." You replied. "You like me."

She stared with a blank look. "I'm sorry, but where'd you get this from?"

"It's just obvious." You told her. "You treat me differently than everyone else."

She raised an eyebrow. "How so?"

"As in the sense that you at least tolerate them." You said. "But you act like you can't stand me."

"Maybe I can't stand you." She replied.

"Nah, you always act hostile towards the people you have feelings for." You shrugged.

"Have you been stalking me or something?" She asked.

"Nah, but I'm friends with your exes." You told her. "They told me some stories about you."

She smirked. "Did you ask or did they tell you?"

You didn't know what to say.

She kept her smirk. "Seems like you like me back."

"I can ask about people without liking them." You replied in your defense.

"And I can be hostile towards people without liking them." She replied in her defense.

You were silent for a second.

"But for the record, you do like me...right?"

She nodded. "Yeah."

"Wanna go out?" You asked.

"Damn." She replied. "That was quick."

You laughed. "I know a karaoke place we can go to."

"Not sure if I wanna sing." She told you.

"It can be for the entertainment." You shrugged, laying back.

"Alright then." She smiled. "I'm in."
