Chapter 47

I bit down on my bottom lip at his sweet move. He's still on top of me, a ghost of smile playing on his lips as he kissed the tip of my nose again. I ran my hands lightly over his arms. Pinatakan niya ako ng isa pang marahang halik sa labi bago binagsak ang katawan sa aking tabi. He held me close, brushing a strand of hair from my face.

"Zach..." I whispered his name tenderly.

My heart pounded out of control when he lazily smiled at me, his eyes suddenly tired and sleepy. A tender expression crossed his face. His face was so close to mine that I could smell the strong scent of whiskey he had been drinking.

"Baby time," he whispered.

I chuckled softly. May alam siyang gano'n? Ngumuso ako at bumagsak ang mga mata sa aking kamay na nakapahinga sa kaniyang hubad na dibdib, nag-iinit nanaman ang pisngi. He poked my nose, his chest vibrating as he chuckled.

"Hmm. So silent..." he pointed out, his tone slightly teasing.

Hindi ako kumibo at marahan na lang na hinaplos ang latag ng balahibo sa kaniyang dibdib. Noon ay pangarap ko lang na mahawakan siya ng ganito. Ngayong nagagawa ko na ang lahat ng gusto ko ay nakakapanibago rin pala. Pakiramdam ko ako na ang pinakamasuwerteng babae sa mundo. Though this part is still a bit blurry to me. I mean, all of this... everything just happened so fast in a day!

"Akala ko cuddle lang? Later na ang talk?" I asked him in a mellow tone.

His rough and hot palm caressed my cheek gently. Naramdaman ko ang paghalik niya sa noo ko kaya tiningala ko siya galing sa pagkakatitig sa mga daliri kong naglalaro sa kaniyang dibdib.

"Sorry. Am I making you uncomfortable?" He asked with a worried expression.

"No. I-I'm just..."

The overwhelming warmth I am feeling right is just too much to handle. I pouted. My goodness! Sobrang naninibago lang talaga ako.

"Where is my confident baby Amber in the balcony awhile ago? Why does she look so shy now. Hmm..." his low and husky voice gave me shivers.

Kagat-labi akong tumingin sa kaniya.

"H-Hindi lang ako sanay," I told him honestly. "b-but I will be. Don't worry."

His brow shot up, a playful smile slowly forming on his sexy lips.

"I don't know which one I like more. Your sexy and confident side or this adorable one," he breathed out.

Pwede namang both? Sumimangot ako at magsasalita na sana ngunit naunahan ako ng kaniyang halik. It was just a quick kiss but I couldn't prevent the shudder that rocked through me. Kumurap-kurap ako.

"I could never let anyone close to me like this, but you are so damn different, baby..." he murmured with a tiny sigh.

He stroked my long silky hair and pulled me into his chest. I relaxed a bit. Burying my face on his hard chest, I breathed in, wanting to savor the manly scent of his body. The world around me melted as I squeezed him back. I can stay like this forever.

"I'm sorry, I fucked up." His voice was muffled.

"What?" I asked softly.

"I didn't really want to end things like that. I'm sorry," he said as he cradled my head on his chest.

Ngumuso ako. I wasn't sure where he was going with this. Ilang beses na siyang nag-sorry at ramdam ko ang sinseridad sa lahat ng iyon. Okay na sa akin na alam niyang mali ang ginawa niya. I was so mad at him, but after hearing his deepest struggles, I couldn't help but forgive. Madali siyang patawarin. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba marupok ako o mahal ko lang talaga siya ng sobra.
