Today was like any other day for you. Walking around Liyue as a citizen there, you were greeted by the regular merchants and chefs who you had the pleasure of meeting.

Though there was one person missing; Zhongli, your best friend.

You had come around the same time as you have had done for the past year or so. It was usual for him to greet you by the gate, and when you would leave he would ask something along the lines of, "same time tomorrow?".

Today though, you entered through the gates alone, greeted by guards instead of Zhongli. And when you had asked, they said he hadn't stopped by today.

Unlike him, you were just a farmer who has enough mora for food and shelter, in contrast to your filthy rich brother. He had often offered money, but your pride says no.

Now standing outside if Zhongli's residence, you decided to knock-

"yO, Zhongli!" You called out as you kicked his door open, strutting in casually. Sure this was a crime, but everyone knows you and Zhongli were close friends, and you weren't gonna steal from him even if you were low on money.

You cackled, "what happened? Why are you taking a bath in the middle of an afternoon." In which you were supposed to meet him by the front gate.

"Childe pushed you into a fountain?"

He shook his head.

"He..." You stopped, rummaging your brain for answers. "Dropped a bucket of water on you."

Again, he shook his head.

"OOOH, he nearly drowned you in a puddle of coffee he and I made last week!"

Finally, zhongli nodded. The poor guy was still red all the way to his ears and you wanted to tease him more.

"Yeah that was my idea." You admitted, "I didn't think he'd try to use it on you though..." Initially, you wanted to push xingqiu in since you wanted to know what his reaction is going to be.

As you wondered into your thoughts for a moment, Zhongli had kept staring at your face, the close proximity wasn't helping in his case, yet he was to nervous to move back - or he didn't want to. Or both.

"Hmm~?" You hummed, your nose almost touching as you leaned in closer. Zhongli's eyes widen - he was like a cat trapped in a corner. "I know I'm pretty, but why stare?"

"You're beautiful-" it was like he was in a trance. He hadn't even realized he had said that. Maybe the bath was almost too relaxing. He had let his guard down, allowing the girl to treat him as so.

Zhongli had pulled you into the bath with him. Why? He doesn't know either. He guessed it was on impulse, but he had left that for later.

"Hey! My shirt!" You frowned. Your white shirt had gone see through, soaked in the sweet flower scented bath water. More importantly, you're now wet, along with your hair that you worked so hard on.

Just as you were about to scold him again, you were met with a pair of warm lips. Actually you were more surprised that he had the guts to do say, rather than the fact that he did.

It was obvious to everyone that he had a crush on you. Childe has been going on and on about how all zhongli ever talks about is you, you, you and you. With you doing the same (by same meaning all you talk about is you), he had had enough and decided to change the subject whenever your name is mentioned.

"Looks like the kitty grew fangs- ah!"

Unexpectedly, he had bitten your bottom lip, giving him a free pass into your mouth.

When you had looked into each other's eyes, you couldn't help but smirk.

He's definitely on auto pilot right now and when he realizes what happens, you couldn't help but cackle.
