Luke x Reader (JATP) - barely editing anymore

Chapter 11

It finally hit you and Luke that you hadn't moved for like five minutes because of Reggie moving to the piano and crushing down on the notes to get you two to snap out of it.

"Oh.. I.. um.. I should get going" You stuttered trying to release the tension that was now in the room.

"Oh, yea ok um i'll see you later" Luke responded not making any eye contact to try and make things less awkward.

And... awkward exit

After a few weeks went by nothing really happened and luckily your bruises started to heal up in time for school to start tomorrow. You wanted to spend your last free day doing something fun before you had to get sent off into torture.

You were looking around exploring and looking for places that could be cool to hangout in when this random guy just walked straight into you.

"What the hell?" You yelled after being bumped into without an apology.

"Sorry" Was all you could make out of the man who didn't even think for a second to stop once bumping into you.

A hand reached out in front of you to grab it. You didn't have a chance to look up before holding onto it as it helped you up.

"Hey, you ok" Now looking up at the face as to whom the hand belonged the boy who looked around your age spoke.

"Yea fine thanks, people can be real dicks in this town can't they" You said trying to lighten the mood by joking around and talking about the guy who just bumped into you and left.

"Yea tell me about it" The boy joked along with you.

"Hey are you new around here? I don't think i've seen you around" The boy questioned.

"Oh, yea I moved here a few weeks ago, I start Loz Feliz tomorrow, have you heard of it?"

"Oh yea no way I go there, i'll make sure to look out for you.." He said this waiting to hear your name.

"Oh it's y/n and you are.." You did the same to him.

"I'm Ethan it's nice to meet you y/n"

"Yea you too, also you'll have to show me around the school and maybe it won't totally suck having one person i know" You let out a little laugh.

"Yea definitely but i'm not too sure on the whole school not being terrible thing because i've been here all my life and it still sucks" He laughed with you.

"Hey are you busy right now because i want to do something fun before school starts and you seem fun to hang with?" So normally you would've replied with no get away from me I barely know you but you were also bored and had nothing to do and anything would be better than staying in that garage for another day.

"Yea sure why not" You replied to his question.

It wasn't as bad as you thought and you really needed some human interaction so you were happy you decided to hang out with Ethan.

Once you got back to the garage you noticed no one was home yet and decided to have a shower. You just got out of the shower and you were wearing a sports bra and sweatpants. You walked out of the bathroom and once again Luke by no surprise is invading your personal space and giving no warning that he's home yet.
