"I just saved Senior's life from the control of Tianyin. Why aren't you grateful? Instead, you put forth a condition before you're willing to treat me?" Qi Mingyue jumped down from Qi Xutian's arms and stood in front of Chu Yu who had made a demand but still showed no embarrassment.

Chu Yu scrutinized the young man in front of him and the amazement in his eyes was not because of his appearance and manners, but rather because of the power of Tianyin that he revealed.

When he was in a trance before, he had realized that he had been influenced by the zither's music, but he had no way to save himself. He thought that Jiang Yao would come to help him but was met with such a young child instead.

He had been practising Tianyin for decades, but he has never met anyone with such astonishing qualifications. In his eyes, this young man had become a treasure that could only be met but not sought.

When he saw that he (QM) seemed to be unhappy, he hurriedly explained, "My condition is very simple, you just have to worship me[1] as your master. It's not difficult, right?" From his words, he seemed to be eager about becoming Qi Mingyue's master and appeared as if he couldn't wait to teach him Tianyin right then and there.

[1] Not the kind of worship towards a God. It can be understood as respectfully accepting/being accepted as someone's disciple. In this ceremony, the disciple-to-be kowtows before their future-Master, bows three times with their head touching the floor, and serves their future-Master tea.

Qi Mingyue raised his eyebrows, "If I don't want to worship you, what does Senior plan to do then?"

"How about trading your life in exchange?" Qi Xutian stood on the side and smiled icily, his voice was soft and calm, but the sheer ferocity made Chu Yu involuntarily take a step back.

Chu Yu stood still and wiped away the sweat that unknowingly seeped out at some point. He looked at the two people standing before him and became inexplicably nervous, "My request... is just... I just want to accept a disciple."

"As far as I know, Senior already has two bright and clever disciples." Qi Mingyue smiled softly.

"But they are not Celestials!" Chu Yu suddenly became exuberant and began to ramble endlessly about what Celestial beings were, how rare they were, how suitable they were for practising Tianyin and what benefits they would get after learning it.

"If Senior really is unwilling, I will not bother you with it." Qi Mingyue found it unbearable and interrupted him, wanting to leave.

Chu Yu quickly shut his mouth, pulled up the hem of his clothes, and rushed towards him. His previous demeanour of a Senior was long gone, replaced by a fawning expression and a pleading look, "For the sake of Xiao Yin, Lan and Little Black, I beg you to agree and let me teach you the method of Tianyin. If you don't want to call me Master, I will never ask you to!"

Seeing him change his attitude to such an extent, Qi Mingyue was a little surprised. After hearing what he said, Qi Mingyue suddenly asked, "Why did you name it Little Black[1]?" He questioned while pointing at the giant black eagle perched at the windowsill.

[1] Xiao Hei

Chu Yu didn't seem to understand why he asked such a question, so his expression turned blank, but he replied seriously, "It's black, so naturally it's called Little Black."

"What about Xiao Yin?"

"He has silver hair."

"Lan?"

"Blue clothes."

Qi Mingyue shut his mouth and replied with an impassive face, "Okay, I agree."

He said so much before but didn't see any response, but suddenly he agreed. Although he didn't know why, Chu Yu was so happy that he smiled, froze in place and was unable to speak.
