If this was a joke, it wasn't a very funny one.
That's what came to mind in Daichi perspective as he looked at his phone.
His heart wrenching in pain as he was beyond shock and furious. And maybe a tiny piece of hope that he cling on to that maybe, just maybe, his friend was still alive.
But no. It can't be. No, [Name] was dead. The [Last name] family, [Name]'s parents had given him and the whole team the tragic news two weeks ago.
Daichi was there in the fucking funeral. He saw [Name]'s coffin putting down the ground, six feet under.
So why?
Why the fuck was the grey dot beside [Name]'s name, green?
Why does it says he was online?
Daichi knew [Name] was dead. So why does it says he was online? Was this a cruel, sick joke? Did someone thought it was funny? Because it isn't.
But why? Why does he feel that dumb hope again? That maybe, just maybe, [Name] was really alive?
Daichi felt himself crumble down as he saw the green dot still there, telling him that the user was online.
Was this truly [Name]? Is he online?
