"The floor below us, HR department yung nandoon, and here is your cubicle!" Rinig kong salita ni Yve sa labas ng office ko. "Yung nasa loob, that's your boss."

"Baliw!" I laughed and smiled at the new assistant. "Hello!"

"Hello po, Miss Samson!" nauutal na sabi nung assistant. She had glasses on and she looked young. "Thank you po ulit for this opportunity! I promise, I won't let you down!"

I nodded. "I'm guessing Yve already gave you my schedule?"

"Yes po! May interview po kayo with two influencers today for the videos to post po, tapos inaask daw po ni Ma'am Emma ang inyong final say sa upcoming videos sa youtube channel."

Tumango ako at tinignan ang cellphone ko. "Thank you! There's breakfast by the lounge if you're hungry."

"Ay ma'am, for higher employ—"

"No, go ahead!" I smiled. "I'll need help with the interview later, we're going to be shooting at the studio."

Tumingin ako sa labas ng bintana at inobserbahan ang iba't ibang mga gusali na naroon. Manila's a very busy place, even in mornings. Ang rush "hour" sa Baguio, gano'n ang lahat ng hours dito sa Manila. Which reminded me that I'm supposed to be meeting up with Hanzo later once he lands.

Nang makita ko ang isang text ng isang iinterviewhin namin, kinuha ko na agad yung pamalit ko ng suot.

It's been three years since I've started working at this magazine. Nung first year ko dito, naassign ako sa creative team ng magazine, and ever since then, we've been one of the most famous magazines in Asia for three consecutive years. This magazine was already legendary even before I started working here, but I guess they needed just a little push with what the millennials wanted on social media.

"Natalia!" Yakap sa akin ni Alice. "Thanks for calling me in for an interview!"

"Maglalaro ka ng game after ha!" I laughed. "So 2 videos!"

"Sige, sana you're not magsawa sa face ko." She giggled.

Mabuti at walang pinanghahawakan na galit si Alice kay Claude. He often visits me here in Manila, along with Raffy, when they're not busy. Pero minsan, si Claude lang. Palagi niya rin kasama sina Carmilla, at yung ibang mga kaibigan nila sa squad nila. Kasama na rin si Alice doon. So it was an advantage having Alice be a friend for times like this.

The job came with its perks. I often met artists, influencers, people with well-known names, since it was our job to make sure that they would get the exposure that could help not only us as a magazine, but also them as artists. That's why I became the go-to person in the office when it came to connections. Kung may kailangan man i-contact para sa interview, photoshoot ng cover, or anything else, I am always the one they'd call.

"Ma'am, nag-cancel po si Stephen, emergency daw po," anang assistant sa akin pagkabalik namin sa office pagkatapos nung shoot ni Alice.

Tumango ako at nilabas ang cellphone ko.
