Chapter 21

"Good morning Sir." My employee greeted me.

"Hello po sir. Good morning po."

"Good morning." I said.

"Sir you'll be having a meeting with Mr. Cortez at 10 and Mr. Fallon at 2-4 pm." Hiro said, my secretary.

"Noted. Remind me later baka makalimutan ko kasi."

"Yes sir."

"Good morning po sir. I'll help you carry your things po."

"No it's okay Jeric I can manage it. Just go to your work."

I went inside my office to do paper stuffs.

I didn't even notice that it's almost 10 already. I heard a knock from my door.

"Come in."

"Sir it's time for your meeting with Mr. Cortez."

"Sige papunta na ako. I'll just fix these papers."

"Okay sir."

"Sir it's already 2 pm and you have a meeting with Mr. Fallon." I didn't answer but I gave him a nod.

"Sir you have a meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Tan."

"Now?"

"Yes sir."

"I thought dalawa lang meeting ko."

"It's an emergency meeting po."

"Pupunta na ako."

What a boring day tsss. I didn't even have the chance to message or see Scarlett.

My meeting finish at 7pm and I'm already driving home. This is really part of my life. I'm the only child and the future C.E.O. in our company.

My father told me that this isn't just for our name but for my future of my family. Tama naman sila. They built this together with my mother para hindi na kami maghirap. That we won't be asking for money to someone else.

"Inay. Itay. I'm home."

"You must be tired anak. Come I prepared something for you." Inay said.

"I also cook dessert for you anak." Itay said.

"Wow. Ang sarap po." They smiled at me.

I jump to my bed because I'm so exhausted today and I badly need a long sleep.
