The variety of flavours made Prem's mouth water. To his surprise the memory of his father had faded almost completely. I'm doing better the realization made the corners of his mouth curl up 'Do you want a waffle?' 'What?' 'With your ice cream, they sell waffles too' Boun pointed towards the colourful board that displayed the wide variety of products 'I'm still kind of full Phi' 'That's fine, boy' Boun patiently waited for him to make up his mind 'I think that I'll take the raspberry' 'Eiii, sweet and refreshing' Boun's eyes immediately met Prem's lips 'You're a lucky man' Prem grinned and gave Boun a peck 'You must be a mind reader too' Boun muttered 'P'Boun, there's nothing I can't do' 'Well...' 'Oi' Prem hit Boun's shoulder 'Hey hey hey you haven't even heard what it was yet' Prem looked at Boun with pretended suspicion 'Okay' 'You could never make me stop loving you' Prem closed his eyes and groaned softly 'Oi, so cheesy' 'Eiii, you like it' Boun replied. Prem couldn't hide a smile 'You like it' 'Do I have to order my own ice cream?' Prem desperately pretended to be irritated 'Now I would be a bad boyfriend if I let you do that, huh' Boun grinned.

Prem ate his ice cream while they walked back to the horses 'Are you okay?' Boun asked him all of a sudden 'Huh?' Prem's mouth was full. 'Oi' Boun giggled softly while he wiped Prem's lips clean 'What was that Phi?' Prem asked him when his mouth was empty. Boun looked at him as if he was trying to gauge him 'Are you okay?' Prem thought about his question for a while 'I think so' he finally replied. 'I don't feel sad yet' 'Good' Boun pulled him closer 'But if you do, just tell me' Prem nodded in agreement 'Thank you for the ice cream, Hia' 'Was it good?' 'Yeah' Prem giggled softly 'Let me have a taste' Boun leaned over and kissed his eagerly responding boyfriend. 'Very sweet indeed' Boun licked his lips when they were done. A blush started forming on Prem's face and he quickly said: 'Let's get to the horses'

Slowly but surely, Boun started steering Yut deeper into the forest. 'What the hell' Prem mumbled 'PHI, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!' he yelled 'FOLLOW ME' a huge smile decorated Boun's face while he and Yut galloped further away from them. He's going to the lake Aran snorted softly when Prem steered him after Yut. 'What the hell is he up to' Prem muttered to his horse. But when his mind started dancing around the possibilities, he could only smile.

When they arrived at the lake, Boun had already gotten off Yut. Once Prem had dismounted as well, Boun took him in his arms 'Do you remember what we used to do here?' he whispered in Prem's ear. Once Boun stepped back and turned around, Prem could only hear his heartbeat. Boun slowly undressed, his back turned to Prem. When he was completely naked, he stepped into the water. Prem hesitated a second before taking off his own clothes. Then he quickly made his way to Yut and looked in his saddlebag. Why the hell did he buy so many Prem shook his head and took one. While Yut ran away as quickly as he could, Prem hid the condom in his fist and approached the lake. The dark water surrounded him like a cloak. Prem's heart beat even faster than it did before, pumping warmth through his body. When Prem reached his boyfriend, Boun immediately wrapped his hands around his waist and pulled him close 'Are you cold?' Boun asked him. The water was freezing and the air was cool. But Prem didn't feel it 'No' he whispered. 'Good' Boun grinned. They slowly inched closer, each waiting for the other to give in first. Out of nowhere Boun cursed beneath his breath 'What?' 'I forgot the condoms in Yut's saddlebag' Prem's lips curled up into a grin and he dangled the package in front of Boun's nose 'Good thing I didn't'

'Did you cum?' Boun panted into Prem's right ear 'Yeah' Prem giggled softly. Boun quickly pulled out and hugged Prem a bit tighter. His mind was racing, but he couldn't help but notice Prem's shiver 'You're cold' 'A little' Prem whimpered with chattering teeth. Shit Boun quickly lifted Prem up and carried him back ashore. After taking the cloak, which he wisely had brought along, he wrapped Prem up and put him on the ground. Boun quickly made a fire before returning to his boyfriend and rubbing all his limbs. Once Prem started warming up, a sigh of relief escaped his lips 'Thank you' he whispered. Boun smiled and shook his head. All of a sudden he heard a noise. Before he could stop himself, he jumped up and hissed in every direction he could. It took him a couple of seconds to get himself under control. What the fuck he quickly tried to get hide his fangs again while Prem's eyes grew big. When Boun saw his boyfriend's fear, he immediately tried to calm him down 'It was probably just a deer, boy' Boun gently kissed him 'Please don't be afraid' Prem smiled a little and nodded. Suddenly Boun heard another sound. He got up, his fangs out in the open. He was hyperventilating where are they where are they where are they he looked in all directions. But they weren't there. Why weren't they there? 'Sssh, P'Boun' Prem had gotten up and hesitantly wrapped his arms around Boun 'It's okay to be afraid' Prem's concern triggered something in Boun and he broke down in tears. 'Sssh' Prem kept comforting him while he took Boun back to the cloak. He put Boun's head on his chest and wrapped his arms around him. 'It's okay Phi' he whispered. Boun closed his eyes and focussed on Prem's heartbeat. It was firm, and steady. It slowly calmed Boun down. 'Shit' Boun scoffed 'I guess we're both messed up then' 'Yeah' Prem ran his fingers over Boun's biceps. They were still for a while before Prem broke their silence: 'What are you afraid of, P-?' 'Werewolves' it was out before Prem could finished his sentence. Prem frowned 'There are no werewolves now, are there?' Boun sniffled a little and looked up at his boyfriend 'No, there aren't. I don't know why I was afraid' Prem started stroking his boyfriend's hair 'I'm sorry' Boun added 'Oi, P'Boun' Prem laughed softly 'You don't have to be sorry' 'You always say sorry' 'And what do you tell me?' his words silenced Boun. He decided to focus on his boyfriend's heartbeat again. 'I don't want you to become a vampire' he said after a while 'What?' 'We're heartless creatures. Literally' the latter part of that sentence tasted bittersweet. 'I don't think you're heartless Phi. You wouldn't be able to love me if you were' Boun had never thought of himself like that. 'I'll miss the beating of your hart, though. It calms me down' 'You're welcome' 'Oh ho' Boun started laughing. The way Prem had made him feel better with only a couple of sentences made him love him even more. 'I'll miss your warmth, your sweat' he looked up at Prem 'I'll miss leaving hickeys on you' 'Wait' Prem thought for a second 'Vampires can't get...' 'Nope' 'So that's why none of my kisses did that' Boun couldn't hold in a laugh 'Why? What did you think it was?' 'I thought that I wasn't doing it right' 'Oi' Boun ruffled Prem's hair and put his head on his chest again 'You were doing it great' Prem fell silent for a while 'What's on your mind?' Boun asked him 'Nothing. It's just...' Boun patiently waited for him to finish his sentence 'I can't believe it's only been a month' Prem said 'Me neither' Boun mumbled 'We met here, didn't we?' Prem continued 'Yeah' Boun thought back to that night 'I thought that you were so beautiful' a small smile coated Prem's lips 'That's only because you saw me in the dark' Boun replied 'Probably, yeah' Prem let out a shriek when Boun hit him 'I'm kidding Phi, I'm kidding. You're very beautiful' Prem apologetically stroked Boun's hair 'And you're very cute like this' 'Oh ho, don't get too used to it' 'I'll savour this moment then' Prem giggled and planted a kiss on Boun's hair 'What was your favourite moment?' Boun asked him 'Hmmm' Prem thought for a while 'I love sleeping in your arms' he finally replied 'It makes me feel safe' 'I love waking up next to you' Boun said in response 'You've made me so happy, Prem' 'You make me happy too, Hia' they stared at each other for a while. Could he ever know how much I love him? 'Do you want to go home?' Boun asked him 'Yeah'

When they were back in their bedroom, Boun took Prem in his arms 'I'm going to have to work through the night' 'P'Boun' Prem whined 'I've done some of it this week already, but there's too much and I still want to have a day to spend with you' Boun said. Prem looked up at him and gave in 'Okay Phi, thank you for tonight' a smile appeared on Boun's face 'Thank you, too. Now go take a bath, you're dirty' 'Your fault' Prem grinned.

'P'Boun' Prem entered the room only wearing a towel 'My pyjamas smell weird' 'Give them to me' Boun stretched out his hand and took the pieces of clothing from him. When he held them to his nose he immediately knew what Prem meant 'I'll put them in the washing machine for you' 'Thank you' Prem gratefully smiled and gave his boyfriend a peck. When Boun returned from the kitchen, he saw Prem drowsily sitting naked on the bed 'Do you want to wear mine?' he offered while he sat down on his side of the bed. Prem looked at him before shaking his head 'I like sleeping naked anyway' 'And driving me crazy' Boun muttered 'What?' 'Nothing' Boun grinned and spread his legs. Prem snuggled in between Boun's legs and, with help of a pillow, rested his head on Boun's thigh. 'Sweet dreams, boy' Boun said and started reading his book 'Good luck Hia' 'Thank you' Boun quickly planted a kiss on Prem's forehead and played with his hair before continuing to read the book. But when the words started dancing in front of his eyes he put it aside and fixated his attention on Prem 'Phi you should keep reading your book' Prem giggled 'I have the rest of the night to read that thing' Boun smiled and started playing with Prem's cheeks 'Oi' Prem laughed and tried to cover them 'Nooo don't cover them' Boun nagged 'Okay' Prem smiled 'Ouan' Boun giggled like a kid that had just gotten a new toy. Prem let him fool around for as long as he wanted. A full ten minutes later, though, he had to stop him 'I want to go to sleep now P'Boun' a yawn escaped his lips. Boun lovingly stroked his hair 'Sleep well, Pao. I love you' 'I love you too, Hia' Prem sighed contently and held onto mister cuddles a little tighter.

He fell into a deep, endless sea. How could he drown and breathe at the same time? In the dark, gloomy water he saw a small light. He stretched out his fingers, begging for something else. Then he slowly felt his legs intertwine. What the hell? His legs gradually Turned into one, greenish fin. Oi, so handsome a merman that looked like Boun approached him. Prem immediately clung onto him always so clingy Boun giggled and wrapped his arms around him. Do you want to try it out? Boun pointed towards Prem's new fin. Deep down, he didn't really. But when he saw Boun's smile, he could only nod. Boun's smile broadened and he let him go. Prem swam around, but his power scared him. He tried to turn around again, but he couldn't. It was as if the water held onto him like chains, forcing him forward. He wanted to scream but nothing came out. All of a sudden: I'm here, I'm here Boun took him in his arms and held him tightly. But Prem didn't know whether to be comforted, or angry. Prem, Prem, Prem the merman that looked like Boun kept repeating his name. 'Prem, please wake up' Boun sounded worried 'What is it?' Prem mumbled while rubbing his eyes 'You're heart's racing' 'Oh' then his dream came back to him 'I had a dream' Prem said. Boun frowned 'Was it a good dream?' Boun asked him while he gently wiped the sweat off his boyfriend's face. Prem looked up at him 'I don't know'
