A/N: Oh good god, the weekends again. They really keep me from updating, I'm so sorry. Hope you enjoy this one anyway xx

You're in your favorite Christmas jumper, which isn't half as nice as Toms was, and have a whole box of tree decorations under your arm. You're on your way to Toms house. You had agreed yesterday that you'd help him decorate his tree after you'd decorated your own. You'd finished yours this morning and decided to take all the ball balls you didn't use with you to Toms.

You can't hide it, you're really excited to decorate the tree with him. And to see his house. Be at his place.

Which he shares with his friends you believe.

Double the nervousness please.

On the other hand, you really got along well with his friends the other day so that might just add some fun to the situation.

It takes you a little while to find Tom's house. When you finally do, you take a deep breath and ring the doorbell.

It's not Tom that opens the door for you but Harrison. "Hey Y/n"; he smiles and greets you with a hug.

"Hey."

He lets you in.

"Let me take this box", he says and lets you take your shoes off.

"Tom's upstairs, I think he's still in the shower. You wanna drink something?"

You follow Harrison into the kitchen. You take a seat on one of the bar stools at the kitchen island whilst Harrison opens the fridge and tells you about the choices.

"A water is just fine, thank you", you say politely.

You're a little tense until Harrison sits down across from you and you start chatting. Whilst you do so you realize there's not a single bit of Christmas going on anywhere.

Before you can say something to Harrison, Tom walks in. "I'm so sorry I'm late", he says and rushes over to hug you. You assure him it's fine and that you actually enjoyed talking to Harrison for a bit.

You notice how Toms eyes shoot at Harrison who answers with a quick shake of his head.

You pretend you didn't see.

"Shall we get started?", Tom ask and you hop off your stool.

"Sure", you say and grab your box.

When you enter the living room you stand in shock. "Tom", you exclaim.

"What?"

"What's going on here?"

"What do you mean?"

You put the box down and put your hands on your hips.

Not only the kitchen wasn't decorated, neither is the living room. The tree is poorly standing in the corner of the room, the only trying to bring in a little bit of Christmas spirit but failing miserably.

"Your house looks like the Grinches grotto."

Tom just looks at you confused.

"You've got no decoration sup."

He laughs. "I had a feeling you'd notice that. Well, I just didn't really have the time yet. I've got boxes of decoration from my mum but they're all still up in the attic."

"Harrison?", you call out. Seconds later he's in the room with you. You look at the two boys. "I'm not letting you live a single more day of December without the house screaming Christmas into your face. So, you go up to the attic now and get your decorations."

Neither of them object and quickly pass you to go upset. Whilst they roam around upstairs you start to tidy everything up a bit. You find decorations stand out much more when everything is clean.

"Y/n", Tom calls for you. You walk out into a hallway of stacks of boxes. You clap your hands excitedly.

"Now someone get some Christmas music on and we're all good", you say, beaming.

"On it", Harrison says and disappears in the kitchen.

Suddenly you realize Tom's starring at you. Embarrassed you hide your face and your dorky grin behind your hands.

"I'm sorry, I just get utterly excited about this kinda stuff."

"Don't be silly. And definitely don't hide your face. I think your smile is absolutely beautiful."

You let your hands fall down and stare back at him in surprise. That's when "Last Christmas" starts blaring through the house. "Let's get started", Harrison yells.

What feels like hours, two hot chocolates, a whole lot of cookies and ginger bread later the house is absorbed by Christmas. There's a reef on the door, candles are everywhere, so are fairy lights. There's an advent wreath on the kitchen island and fir branches and mistletoe frame the fire place.

The only thing missing is the Christmas tree.

"I think we need to turn it a little. There's a bit of a hole right there", you point to the bottom of the tree. Tom turns it and looks at you for approval.

"Perfect", you say. You start wrapping the light around the tree, making sure every branch is lined. It takes you a while. The holiday is now playing in the background and every now and then you get distracted by Jude Law and Cameron Diaz.

"Hey, you giving up", Tom asks. Only now do you realize you've sat down on the armrest of the sofa.

You jump up. "Oh no, no, I'm sorry. I just love this movie so much."

"Don't worry", Tom laughs. "I'm joking."

Then he looks at the tree. "I'm pretty sure we're almost done anyway, aren't we?"

A couple ball balls later you are and finally sit down on the sofa together. Harrison, who had to hop on a work call In between, comes into the room.

"Wow, it looks incredible in here", he says.

You smile proudly. "Mission accomplished."
