You Are You
Dedicated to all Bubblheys
For most of my life, I've been witnessing varieties of moon phases.
Different stars with various colors and sizes.
And been waiting for phenomenal events in the night sky.
Yet despite the excitement bequeated by the evening time-
•
I've been on a quest about self discovery.
Questioning myself like who I wanted to be.
Been trying things that are trendy,
Yet I failed to fullfil it.
•
Even the thought of giving up
Sent myself to flow along with life.
Like a river that is flowing to the ocean.
There could be a magnificent destination!
•
To succeed, I need to be strong.
But people seemed coming in and out.
I fear that in this journey, I need to do it alone.
But I need to be courageous!
•
There could be someone out there-
Willing to reach out and help me.
Someone who'll make me feel happy.
Then the fear and doubt would cease.
•
I then realized that we are all
In an endless journey.
We learned and fail,
We get excited and dismayed,
For in this life nothing is certain.
•
You don't need to be perfect.
You just have to be you.
And not any other,
Just like the moon.
•
You need to smile brighter than the stars,
Like the moon of the cresent moon.
You need to glow in the dark,
Like the bright light shown by the full moon.
•
Like the moon, be who you are.
Shine even in the dark night sky.
Rise after the sun and capture everyone's eye.
You are who you are.
•
Not who you wanted to be!
