Chapter 12

Sky's POV-
The foot steps echoed on the walls as we prepared for whatever or whoever was coming. I unsheathed my sword and held it in front of us. My sword had a gold handle with words engraved on the metal part.I stepped through the fire that had started to fade and out onto the other side.
"Who's there?" I said my voice echoing.
"Me." Someone said walking up to me.
"And who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Jake Conriqe." He said.
"Ok. And you're not good."
"And who said that? You mom? Dad? You decide whether someone is good or not."
"Yeah and I have. You're bad."
"What did you say?"
"I said you're bad." I said feeling hot realizing that I was in fire. "You hurt Andrew, my best friend."
"No I didn't. I made him stronger." He said. I saw a sword on his back. I swung my sword at Jake but he unsheathed his sword and threw it forward in front of my sword. I looked at him then swung mine by his knees but kept blocking me everytime I tried to hit him. I must have been fighting him for a minute or more. I tried to go for his head, knees, arms, and chest but he blocked it all. I was about to try to go for another spot but Andrew said, "Sky stop." I looked at him and said, "why? He's the bad guy." I held up my sword blocking him from hitting me.
"Yes but good guys never start the fight. That's not how it works."
"Yes but he took you."
"And you found me."
"Then what now? We have to defeat him."
"We go home and train."
"Ok." I calmed down a little. Jake smirked as he gestured for his guards to do something. They started walking forward and pulled out there own swords. I ran forward and started fighting them. Andrew, Max, and Kara eventually joined me. I had taken out five of the guards using a mix of my power and the sword. And Andrew, Max and Kara took out the rest. When we finished I noticed that Jake had left. His sword was the only left of his.
"Where'd he go?" I asked.
"I don't know." Kara replied.
"I guess we should go now." I said.
Why did he have to capture Andrew? Why couldn't it have been me. We have to defeat him.
When I got home I went to Andrews house instead. I wanted to make sure he was okay.
"Hey Andrew?" I said after nocking on his door. I heard feet running down his steps then he looked through the window to see who it was.
He smiled then said, "Oh, hey Sky," as he opened the door and let me in.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah. I have some bruises but I'm fine."
"Ok. That's good to know."
"Yeah. So what do you want to do?"
"I just wanted to talk. There's been so much going on we haven't been able to talk."
"Ok." He said heading back up his stairs. I followed behind him. We past the pictures of him as a little kid and him now as we went up his stairs. His door had a sign on it that said "Andrews room. Come in I dare you." I sat down on his bed and he sat on his chair when we got into his room.
"So what should we talk about?" Andrew asked his eyes wandering around the room but stopped when they reached me.
"I don't know," I looked at him.
"We can just sit here and stare if you want."
"Ok." We looked at eachother for a hole minute before we talked again.
"Do you like me?" Andrew said. I was staring at space but forced to stop when he asked me that.
"Am I allowed to?" I asked not positive what to say.
"Yes."
"Then I do. Do you like me?"
"Which one?"
"Crush."
"Yes."
"So... What now?" I asked seeing him stand up and walk over to me. He held my hands and lifted me up then put his lips to mine. I tried not to act awkward as he put his hands on my cheeks and I put my hands on his back. I let go of him realizing something. "Oh." I reached into my bag and took out three other thunder powers. "I found these at that place. That's how I found you. This red ones mine also but the green or purple one might be yours." I handed them to him and He put the green one down and held the purple one up. "Nope not this one." He said putting the purple one down and holding the green one. "Wow. This one."
"You can see it?"
"Yeah."
"Awesome."
"I was think we should probably get trained by someone."
"Yeah, that's a good idea. I guess we should tell them."
I texted kara and Max to come over max said he had to head out of town to start school but kara said she could come in five minutes. I sat back down on Andrews bed and he sat next to me. Why can't we just defeat him now? Everything was going so fast but it just feels like nothing's happening. Maybe something will happen when Kara comes. I need to practice using my powers if I don't I won't be able to defeat Jake. Five minutes later I heard a nock of Andrews door. I ran out of Andrews room and down his stairs then opened the door. "Kara!" I said happy to see her.
"Sky!" She answered. Before I let her upstairs I hugged her.
"What's that for?"
"I don't know. I'm just happy I guess."
"That's good. So what did you want to show me?"
"Oh. Come upstairs." I said rasing back up the steps.
"Woah slow down you're going so fast." She said trying to catch up to me.
"Sorry." I said as I went into Andrew's room.
I picked up the purple thunder power and handed it to Kara.
"What do you see?" I asked.
"Wow. That's a lot of stuff."
"Yeah. Oh there's something else."
"What?"
"I think we should get trained by someone."
"Yeah that's a good idea but who?"
"Maybe we could ask my mom."
"Yeah we could do that. Do you guys want to go ask?"
"Sure," Andrew and me said in unison.
"Let's go," I said.
