The hostess took us to our table, we sat down and she put the menus down. I sat across from GianLuca, Mattia sat beside me and his parents sat beside Luca.
Hostess- your waitress's name is Alyssa and she'll be right with you guys. Enjoy your evening!
Mirna- thank you! You too!
The hostess left and we looked at the menus.
Mattia- do you wanna share a pizza?
Aria- yeah sure
Mattia- pepperoni?
Aria- yes
Mattia- okay
The waitress came up to our table and greeted us, she took out her notepad and pen, she asked us what everyone wanted to drink and all of us said water. She left and I talked to Luca for a while.
Mirna- so Aria, I heard your birthday is coming up soon
Aria- yeah, it's on the 22nd
Mirna- are you excited?
Aria- I mean...yeah I guess, it kinda just sucks that my mom won't be here for it
Mirna- why? Where is she
Aria- her boss needed her back in Toronto
Mirna- ohh
The waitress brought our drink and asked if we were ready to order our food. We said yes and all of us ordered. We waited for our food. I took out my sketch pad and pen from my bag, I put them on the table and started doodling. I like sketching when I'm waiting for my food or whenever I'm bored.
Mirna- you can draw Aria?
Aria- uhm I guess so, I really only sketch when I'm waiting for my food or when I'm bored
Mirna- May I look?
Aria- of course!
I handed her my sketchbook and she flipped through the pages
